The study concluded that high-frequency micro-vibration significantly improves the mechanical properties and microstructure of 316L steel laser welding joints. Optimal parameters were identified as frequency=1360 Hz, acceleration=60 m/s2, and angle=90°, resulting in improved ultimate tensile strength, hardness, and elongation due to grain refinement strengthening.

The study is limited to 316L stainless steel and specific laser welding parameters. The effect of vibration parameters on other materials or welding methods was not explored.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
Orthogonal test method L9(33) was employed to examine and optimize the vibration parameters. Laser power was set to
2:5kW, welding speed to 2m/min, and defocusing amount to -5mm. Sample Selection and Data Sources:
316L stainless steel with a thickness of 3mm was used.

IPG YLS-5000 fiber laser system, KUKA welding robot, high-frequency micro-vibration welding platform.
