研究目的
Investigating a strategy for control of distributed generators to additionally support the local grid on top of conventional electricity generation, focusing on decoupling unbalance and harmonic compensation in the phase sequences and the frequency domain for a grid-connected inverter with local unbalanced and distorting loads.
研究成果
The proposed voltage-support strategy helps to reduce the per-phase voltage THD and the voltage unbalanced factor, including fundamental zero- and negative-sequence components. The control architecture, based on only local measurements, is feasible for upgrading software of existing grid-connected converters for add-on local voltage support.
研究不足
The study focuses on a specific control strategy for grid-connected inverters under unbalanced and harmonic conditions. The practical implementation may require consideration of the available power/current rating of the grid-connected converter system for compensation.
