研究目的
Investigating the self-powered photodetection behavior of 2D material-based photodetectors without external power.
研究成果
2D material-based self-powered photodetectors exhibit excellent photoresponse performance and a wide range of photoresponses from ultraviolet to infrared, attributed to their unique 2D planar structure, large light-absorbing surface, appropriate bandgap size, and tunable bandgap range. The paper anticipates further development in new 2D materials, device configuration, and potential applications to enhance the performance and practicality of self-powered photodetectors.
研究不足
The research is limited by the types of 2D materials available and the complexity of constructing p–n heterojunctions. Additionally, the performance of Schottky junction photodetectors is limited by the type of 2D materials and metal electrodes. PEC-type photodetectors, while simpler to manufacture, are difficult to package and carry due to their liquid electrolyte components.
