研究目的
Investigating the single ionization process of HCl molecules in few-cycle intense laser pulses at 800 nm, focusing on the influence of laser parameters such as intensity, pulse duration, and carrier envelope phase on ionization probabilities.
研究成果
The study revealed that the ionization from the HOMO orbital dominates at lower intensities, while the contribution from the HOMO-1 orbital becomes significant at higher intensities. The carrier envelope phase was found to have a notable effect on the ionization probabilities, especially for 2-cycle laser pulses. The findings suggest that the ionization process in HCl is influenced by both the laser parameters and the molecular orbital characteristics.
研究不足
The study is limited by the computational intensity of the TDHF method, which is time-consuming and challenging even for simple molecules. Additionally, the fixed nuclei approximation may not account for dynamic nuclear motion during the ionization process.
