研究目的
To propose and analyze a long-term electrical rating methodology for concentrated photovoltaic (CPV) systems under the meteorological conditions of Singapore, comparing their performance with other photovoltaic systems.
研究成果
The overall electrical rating of the CPV system was found to be 237.56 kWh/m2.year, which is 86% higher than conventional photovoltaic systems, even in Singapore's tropical weather where diffuse radiations form a significant part of solar energy. The study demonstrates the potential for higher CO2 savings and efficiency with CPV systems, provided the average efficiency and total DNI available are known.
研究不足
The study is limited to the tropical weather conditions of Singapore and does not account for variations in other climatic conditions. The performance of CPV systems is highly dependent on the availability of beam radiations, which may vary significantly in different geographical locations.
