研究目的
Investigating the potential output power of a photovoltaic (PV) installation on top of battery-powered electric vehicles (BEVs) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), focusing on the impact of the vehicles' curved roof surface on the available output power of photovoltaics.
研究成果
The study demonstrates that the effective area is a simple way to estimate the available power in the MPP of PV cells with different longitudinal angles and can be used for PV simulation models. For stationary conditions, about 25% less power can be obtained from a series connection of PV cells compared to a parallel connection. For moving conditions, during frequent shading, up to 75% less power can be obtained from a series connection of PV cells compared to a parallel connection.
研究不足
The study is limited by the specific conditions of the experiments, such as the geographical location and the type of vehicle used. The impact of frequent shading and uneven solar radiation distribution on the vehicle's roof may vary under different conditions.
