Laser welding with oscillation significantly reduces poor mixing zones and partial melting strengthening phases, leading to more uniform element distribution and improved mechanical properties. The maximum increment of tensile strength and elongation could be up to 20% and 45%, respectively.

The study focuses on Ni-Cr-Mo and Cu-Cr-Zr alloys; applicability to other dissimilar metal pairs may vary. The effect of oscillation parameters (amplitude, frequency) on welding quality was not extensively explored.
1：Experimental Design and Method Selection
Laser welding with and without oscillation was used to weld dissimilar metals of Ni-Cr-Mo and Cu-Cr-Zr. The effect of oscillation on microstructure and mechanical properties was investigated.
2：Sample Selection and Data Sources
Substrate metals were machined into plates of 100 mm × 50 mm × 3 mm. The chemical composition of the substrate metals was provided.

An IPG YLR-10000 fiber laser, Scan-Tracker processing head, high-speed camera device, Keyence VHX-1000 optical microscope, FEI Quanta 200 FEG SEM, THV-5 digital display Vickers hardness tester, AG-X Plus 250kN electron materials testing system.
4：Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow
Welding was performed with and without oscillation. Metallographic specimens were prepared and analyzed for microstructure, element distribution, and mechanical properties.
5：Data Analysis Methods
SEM-EDS linear and map scanning for element distribution, Vickers hardness testing, tensile testing.
