The study demonstrates a large thermal response in the ionic liquids, indicating a possible modification of the electrical conductivity due to thermal effects. The absorption for the laser wavelength is significantly lower than for the Xe-lamp, suggesting that the electrical conductivity could be generated by the increase of mobility rather than variation of carrier density. Further investigation into both dynamical responses is ongoing.
