To fabricate a novel room-temperature NH3 gas sensor with high sensitivity based on novel DSH ZnTiO3 microrods and study their NH3 gas-sensing properties.

1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The DSH ZnTiO3 microrods were prepared using a self-templating approach by heating sol-gel derived Zn-Ti glycolates with PDDA in an EG solution and then calcining. The NH3 gas-sensing properties were studied at room temperature.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
The samples were prepared by adding TE, Zn(OAc)2·2H2O, and PDDA to an EG solution, followed by calcination. The gas-sensing properties were measured using a bench system.

SEM, TEM, XRD, power supply (GW, PST-3202), DAQ device (NI, USB-6218), standard gas sensor system (Dr?ger, MiniWarn).
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The precursor solution was drop-coated on an alumina substrate with interdigitated electrodes and calcined. The electrical and NH3 gas-sensing characteristics were measured using a bench system.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The response (S) of the sensors was calculated based on the electrical resistances in air and testing gas.
