研究目的
Investigating the effects of laser welding conditions on the quality of welded joints of titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V, focusing on fusion zone width, penetration, heat affected zone width, and joint strength.
研究成果
The study successfully optimized laser welding conditions for titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V using RSM and BBD. The developed regression equations and mathematical models accurately predicted the fusion zone and heat affected zone widths, validated by experimental results. The findings indicate that lower laser power and welding speeds increase fusion and heat affected zone widths, which is crucial for achieving desired mechanical properties in welded joints.
研究不足
The study is limited to thin sheets of titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V and specific ranges of laser power and welding speed. The optimization may not be directly applicable to thicker materials or different alloys without further experimentation.
