研究目的
Investigating the tunable and stable multiwavelength erbium-doped fiber lasers based on novel poly tetra fluoroethylene packaging device of black phosphorus quantum dots and two sections of polarization maintaining fiber in cascade/in parallel.
研究成果
The proposed MWEDFLs based on PTFEPD-BPQDs and two sections of PMF in cascade/in parallel provide stable and flat laser output, with potential applications in WDM and optical sensing. The PTFE packaging structure effectively protects BPQDs from degradation, maintaining functionality for over three weeks.
研究不足
The study does not address the long-term stability of the PTFEPD-BPQDs beyond three weeks. The environmental impact and scalability of the packaging process are not discussed.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study proposes two types of tunable and stable MWEDFLs based on PTFEPD-BPQDs and two sections of PMF in cascade/in parallel. The PTFEPD-BPQDs is made of BPQDs and silica capillaries packaged by PTFE.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
BPQDs are deposited to the end of the fiber by optically driven deposition.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
Includes a 980 nm pumping light source, EDF, WDM, polarizer, PMF, PC, optical isolator, and OSA.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The gain medium is an 8 m long EDF, pumped by a 980 nm pumping light source. The PTFEPD-BPQDs is put into the ring cavity to stabilize MWLSs. A second-order Lyot filter is placed in the ring cavity.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The output spectrum is analyzed using OSA to observe the multiwavelength lasing signals.
