研究目的
Investigating the influence of the amount of dye and its light scattering effect on light harvesting in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) using hierarchically structured TiO2 photoanodes.
研究成果
The study demonstrated that hierarchically structured TiO2 photoanodes with appropriately aggregated TiO2 clusters could enhance the light scattering and dye loading, leading to improved photovoltaic efficiency in DSSCs. The optimized device showed a 23% increase in short-circuit current (Jsc) and a power conversion efficiency of 4.47%, highlighting the significant influence of light scattering on DSSC performance.
研究不足
The study focused on the balance between surface area and light scattering in TiO2 films but did not explore the full potential of other materials or structures that might offer better performance. The technical difficulty in measuring the scattering intensity within the film was also a limitation.
