To study the spectral properties of electron quantum dots (QDs) confined in 2D parabolic harmonic oscillator influenced by gravity, external uniform electromagnetic field together with an Aharonov–Bohm (AB) flux field.

The study provides exact analytical expressions for the energy levels and wave functions of quantum dots under the influence of gravity, electromagnetic fields, and AB flux fields. It also calculates the interband light absorption coefficient and the threshold frequency of absorption, showing the effects of these external fields on the spectral properties of QDs.

The study is theoretical and focuses on a specific model of quantum dots under the influence of gravity, electromagnetic fields, and AB flux fields. Experimental validation and practical applications are not discussed.
