研究目的
To propose a simple method for the real-time evaluation of the CL emission anisotropy based on a radial array of optical fibers, embedded in a poly(methyl methacrylate) semicylinder and coupled with a Charge-Coupled Device (CCD) camera through a suitable interface.
研究成果
The study demonstrated a markedly anisotropic emission in the heterogeneous configuration and an evolution from isotropic to anisotropic emission in the homogeneous configuration, suggesting enzyme absorption on the PMMA surface. This opens new perspectives in the design of CL biosensors by considering or exploiting the anisotropic behavior of CL emission.
研究不足
The study's findings might not be generalizable to all CL systems, as the behavior is dependent on the lifetime of intermediate products of the CL reaction and the presence of enhancers in the CL substrate.
