研究目的
Investigating the shading effect of the flexible photovoltaic panels, mounted on the greenhouse roof area in the checkerboard format, on the microclimate and the tomatoes yield during the summer and winter period.
研究成果
The photovoltaic panels covering 40% of the greenhouse roof area did not significantly affect the climatic parameters or the overall yield of tomatoes. During the hot period, the panels reduced the temperature inside the greenhouse, sometimes to the optimum range for tomato growth. The study suggests that photovoltaic greenhouses can be a viable option for combining agricultural production with renewable energy generation in the south Mediterranean region.
研究不足
The study was limited to a specific type of greenhouse (canarian) and crop (tomatoes), and only one occupancy rate of photovoltaic panels (40%) was tested. The effects might vary with different greenhouse designs, crops, or panel coverage rates.
