研究目的
Investigating the composition, structure, and morphology of ZnO–Co3O4 ceramic targets before and after laser ablation by the KrF excimer laser, and understanding the formation of new phases and structures on the target surface.
研究成果
The study found that under the thermal influence of laser radiation, Co3O4 phase on the surface of ZnO–Co3O4 targets transforms into CoO phase. A radial distribution of cobalt concentration was observed, with higher concentrations in the center of the targets. Center-oriented cone-shaped structures and microwhiskers were formed on the targets, with their number increasing with the concentration of cobalt. These findings are explained by the thermal model of laser-semiconductor interaction and the vapor–liquid–crystal mechanism.
研究不足
The study is limited by the inability to determine the exact temperature of the target surface substance under PLD conditions due to the rotation of the target. Additionally, the radial distribution of elements and the formation of microstructures are influenced by the laser's Gaussian beam profile, which may not be uniformly distributed.
