A stable PbS QD ink was successfully prepared by using AI for the liquid-state ligand exchange. The thick QD solid film was deposited using concentrated QD ink with single deposition step technique, and the QD film had improved performance characteristics compared with that of the QD film prepared using the traditional PbS-PbX2 QD ink. A PCE up to 11.4% was achieved for the infrared light absorbing PbS-AI-based QDSC, which is largely improved compared with that of 10.6% PCE for PbS-PbX2-based QDSC.
