研究目的
To assess the performance of the Parallel Small BAseline Subset (P-SBAS) algorithm within a Cloud Computing (CC) environment for the generation of Differential Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Interferometry (DInSAR) deformation maps and time series.
研究成果
The P-SBAS algorithm demonstrates satisfactory performance within a Cloud Computing environment, with processing times and costs comparable to those achieved on an in-house HPC cluster. The study identifies the major bottlenecks that can affect the P-SBAS performances in a CC environment and suggests further developments to address these challenges.
研究不足
The study is limited to the processing of ENVISAT ASAR image time series and does not cover other SAR data sources. The scalability analysis is performed up to 16 nodes, and the impact of increasing the number of nodes beyond this is not explored.
