研究目的
Investigating the methods for measuring the power contrast of laser radiation with a large dynamic range and high time resolution.
研究成果
Techniques for measuring the power contrast of the laser pulse were developed, ensuring a dynamic range of measurements of 106 and 109 at wavelengths λ = 1.054 μm and 0.527 μm, respectively, and time resolutions of 250 ps and no worse than 100 ps at the same wavelengths. The techniques are implemented in the system for diagnosing the LR parameters of the 'Luch' facility.
研究不足
The dynamic range and time resolution of the techniques are limited by the equipment used, such as the streak camera's dynamic range of 1000 and the time resolution of the transport fiber system.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study describes the streak-camera method and the method based on photodiodes for measuring the laser radiation front profile and power contrast.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
The experiments were conducted at the 'Luch' facility of the RFNC–VNIIEF.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
The SER-5 streak camera, DET08 diodes, R&S RTO1044 oscilloscope, and specially developed optical schemes were used.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The optical scheme involved dividing the radiation into two intensity-unequal signals, which were then processed through fiber-optic collector units and recorded by the streak camera or diodes.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The results were reconstructed to show the time dependence of the LR power, taking into account calibration factors.
