研究目的
Investigating the effects of cellulose reinforcing fibres on the transparency and weldability of PMMA material and the effect of welding parameters on the mechanical properties of steel-PMMA hybrid joints.
研究成果
The study proved that it is possible to manufacture joints between PMMA and steel specimens with laser welding equipment, using both transmission and direct laser welding techniques. However, the addition of cellulose fibres greatly decreased the transparency of PMMA, complicating the welding process. The joints were rigid but showed high standard deviation in tensile force values, indicating potential issues with material degradation and uneven joint formation.
研究不足
The study notes that the standard deviation of measured tensile force values was high, possibly due to the degradation of the PMMA material during welding and uneven connection between PMMA and steel. The direct transparency of reinforced PMMA specimens decreased significantly with the addition of cellulose fibres, making transmission welding difficult.
