The variation in the amino groups of the monoaminoanthraquinone derivatives strongly affects their light absorption properties and reactivities with additives. AAQ/TEAOH/PhC(═O)CH2Br and BAAQ/TEAOH/PhC(═O)CH2Br photoinitiators exhibit the highest efficiency for free radical photopolymerization under blue and UV LED irradiation, respectively. The photoinitiation ability is dependent on the chemical structures of the monomers.
