研究目的
Investigating the snap-through transition of neutral and negatively charged buckled graphene membranes under the transverse load and external electrostatic field created by a point charge to understand their effects on the threshold snap-through switching force in nanosized membranes.
研究成果
The electrostatic interaction between the charged membrane and point charge significantly influences the value of the threshold force, which can be used in the design of advanced membrane memcapacitors. Charge distributions on the buckled and fixed plates need to be taken into account in the quantitative modeling of nanoscale memcapacitors.
研究不足
The study focuses on a specific geometry and charge condition, which may not cover all possible scenarios in practical applications. The step-like simulation approach may not fully capture the continuous dynamics of the snap-through transition.
