研究目的
To study the crystal growth, structural perfection, and optical properties of Ca3TaGa3Si2O14 single crystals.
研究成果
Ca3TaGa3Si2O14 single crystals with ordered langasite structure were successfully grown. The crystals exhibit good structural quality and interesting optical properties, including anisotropy and dichroism, making them suitable for various optical applications.
研究不足
The study is limited to the optical and structural properties of Ca3TaGa3Si2O14 single crystals grown under specific conditions. The effect of other growth parameters on crystal properties was not explored.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The Czochralski technique was used for crystal growth in Ar+(
2:5–3)% O2 atmosphere. X-ray topography and rocking curve methods were employed to study structural perfection. Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Samples were prepared from Ca3TaGa3Si2O14 single crystals grown along the Y-axis.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
A high-temperature furnace (Carbolite 16=35), UV–vis–NIR spectrophotometer (Agilent Technologies Cary-5000), and X-ray diffractometer (TRS) were used.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
Crystals were grown, annealed, and then subjected to surface treatments (polishing and etching). Optical properties were measured using spectrophotometric methods.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
Refractive index and specific rotation of the polarization plane were determined from transmittance spectra and reflection measurements.
