The sol-gel method successfully synthesized Sr2FeMoO6 and Sr1.9A0.1FeMoO6 (A = Li, Na, K) with high photocatalytic activity for acid black 10 B. Na+ or K+ doping improved the photocatalytic activity, while Li+ doping slightly decreased it. The photocatalytic mechanism involves the generation of hydroxyl radicals under UV irradiation.
