研究目的
To develop a visible-light-driven magnetic photocatalyst for the efficient removal of ibuprofen from water, understand its degradation mechanism, and scale up the process with a prototype photocatalytic reactor integrated with an electromagnetic separation unit.
研究成果
The BiOBr/Fe3O4@SiO2 photocatalyst demonstrated efficient degradation and mineralization of ibuprofen under visible light, with major degradation routes being eCB?-mediated reactions and direct-hole oxidation. The photocatalyst maintained ~80% activity after five cycles and was successfully scaled up in a prototype reactor with ~99% separation efficiency in 5 min. The technology shows promise for low-strength wastewater treatment but requires further feasibility studies for field application.
研究不足
The presence of natural organic matter (NOM) and anions in real sewage inhibited the photocatalytic performance, requiring an increase in photocatalyst dosage. The study used a higher initial concentration of ibuprofen (2 mg/L) than typically found in wastewater due to detection limits of analytical instruments.
