The paper shows very good behavior of power parameters estimations base on low error estimation of frequency. As expected the response time is one period of the fundamental component in the step signal changing. We can effectively track power parameters with the one-cycle window estimation, where some small waves can be noticed due to the closest second or third harmonic distortion component but relative errors are below. Noise error contribution in estimations is much suppressed due to the largest signal-to-noise ratios using only the largest local DFT coefficients.

The drawback of non-parametric estimation of the non-coherent sampling signal in the frequency domain is its inaccuracy at lower number of signal cycles in the measurement interval.
