The AV/PSGCN photocatalyst exhibited enhanced photocatalytic activity for phenol mineralization and E. Coli disinfection under visible light. The heterojunction formation between AV and PSGCN resulted in efficient charge carrier separation and reduced recombination of photogenerated electron-hole pairs. The photocatalyst showed high stability and recyclability.

1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The AV/PSGCN photocatalyst was prepared via a deposition-precipitation method. P and S co-doped g-C3N4 was synthesized via thermal polycondensation using hexachlorotriphosphazene (HCCP) and thiourea as precursors.

Phenol and E. Coli were chosen as target pollutants to test the photocatalytic activity.

Photocatalytic reactions were performed under visible light using a 35 W LED lamp. Phenol degradation was monitored spectrophotometrically at 270 nm.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The kinetics of photodegradation was evaluated using Langmuir-Hinshelwood model. Reactive species were identified using scavenging experiments.
