研究目的
Investigating the feasibility of using the single-breath-hold MSG-EPI sequence for three dimensional (3D) unenhanced whole-heart MRA on a 3T MRI scanner in healthy volunteers.
研究成果
The single breath hold MSG-EPI sequence can yield an image quality that is non-inferior to the free breathing gradient echo sequence at unenhanced whole-heart coronary MRA at 3T MRI. This technique is a promising method to reduce the acquisition time of 3D unenhanced whole-heart coronary MRA images.
研究不足
The study included only 14 healthy volunteers, limiting the generalizability to patients with suspected coronary disease. There was a relatively small individual difference in heart rate and body weight between volunteers. Only one parameter set was applied for whole-heart coronary MRA.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study compared single breath hold coronary MRA with MSG-EPI and free-breathing TFE coronary MRA at 3T.
2:3T. Sample Selection and Data Sources:
2. Sample Selection and Data Sources: Fourteen healthy male volunteers were included.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
A 3T MRI scanner (Ingenia-CX, Philips Medical Systems, Tokyo, Japan) with a 16-element phased-array direct digital RF receiver coil and vector electrocardiographic gating was used.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
Volunteers underwent imaging with both MSG-EPI and TFE sequences. The acquisition time, SNR, and contrast were compared.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
Quantitative and qualitative analyses were performed, including SNR calculation and image quality assessment by radiologists.
