The study is limited to room temperature measurements and does not explore the performance under varying temperature conditions. The quantum efficiency decreases with increasing Dy concentration, indicating concentration quenching.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The Dy-doped YAG transparent ceramics were synthesized using the vacuum reactive sintering method. A reverse strike coprecipitation method was adopted to prepare the Y2O3 and Dy2O3 powders.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
The commercial Al2O3 (
3:99% purity, α-phase) were used as the raw materials. List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
UV-VIS-NIR spectrometer (Carry 5000, Agilent), Scanning electron microscope (S-4800, Hitachi), fluorescence spectrometer (FLS920P, Edinburgh), heat-flow method detector (DRL-III, XiangYi), 365 nm UV-LED chip, spectrometer (PR650, Photo Research), digital camera (D90, Nikon).
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The powders were weighed, mixed, dried, sieved, pressed, CIPed, sintered, and annealed. All measurements were conducted at room temperature.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The fluorescence lifetime and quantum efficiency were measured and analyzed.
