The proposed single layer and compact UWB band-stop FSS provides a UWB response with a bandwidth of 11.94 GHz from 5.24 to 17.18 GHz and stable frequency response at oblique incidences for both TE and TM polarizations. It can be used for shielding of WLAN signals, radar signals, and Ku-band, as well as in antenna applications to increase directivity.
