To propose a method for rendering fluorescent phenomena under global illumination environment efficiently by sampling the wavelength of light using importance sampling considering both spectra of fluorescent materials and light sources.

The proposed spectral rendering method of fluorescence using importance sampling of the wavelength considering both fluorescence spectra and light source spectra generates a high quality spectral image with less computational time than the other sampling methods.

The need for further research on how many wavelength samples are required to draw the best performance from the proposed method and the examination of the proposed method in various kinds of scenes to investigate its usefulness thoroughly.
