研究目的
Investigating the photocatalytic activity of Li doped bismuth oxide nanorods for the degradation of gentian violet (GV) under UV light irradiation.
研究成果
Li doped bismuth oxide nanorods exhibit good photocatalytic activity for the degradation of GV under UV light irradiation, with potential applications in environmental remediation.
研究不足
The photocatalytic activity is dependent on the amount of nanorods and initial GV concentration, which may limit its application under varying conditions.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
Li doped bismuth oxide nanorods were synthesized via the hydrothermal route. The photocatalytic activity was analyzed by the degradation of GV under UV light irradiation.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
AR grade of sodium bismuthate and lithium acetate were used. GV solution was prepared using distilled water.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
SEM (nova nano SEM FEI 430), UV-vis spectrophotometer (UV756), UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectrum (UV3600 UV-vis spectrometer), Hg lamp as UV light source.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The mixture was heated in a Teflon-lined stainless autoclave, then filtered, washed, and dried. Photocatalytic experiments were carried out under UV light irradiation.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The absorbance of the GV solution at 583 nm was measured to evaluate the photocatalytic activity.
