研究目的
Investigating the growth, structure, thermal, optical, electrical, dielectric, hardness, and Z-scan study of LHMD single-crystal for nonlinear optical applications.
研究成果
The LHMD crystal can be used in optical limiter, broad band optical windows, all optical switching devices, Two Photon Absorption (TPA) microscopy, Photonic (negative nonlinearity) devices and holographic applications.
研究不足
The thermal stability of the LHMD crystal is weak in spite of the presence of lithium.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The LHMD crystal is grown by slow evaporation at room-temperature.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Starting materials are lithium acetate dihydrate and maleic acid.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
Bruker Kappa APEX II single-crystal X-ray Diffractometer, Perkin–Elmer thermal analyzer, LCR HITESTER, Nd:YAG laser, He–Ne laser.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The mixture is stirred for 10 h at room-temperature until a clear solution is obtained. After 7 days, crystals are obtained.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
Single-crystal XRD, FTIR and FT-Raman analysis, UV-Vis analysis, Vickers microhardness test, TGA analysis, dielectric studies, SHG studies, Z-scan studies.
