研究目的
To enhance the photocatalytic efficiency of PCMs by making TiO2 particles disperse homogeneously, thereby improving the adsorbent properties of the matrix and protecting the TiO2 from the influence of the cementitious system.
研究成果
The study demonstrated that the zeolite/TiO2 composite (ZTC) significantly enhances the photocatalytic efficiency of cement-based materials. The ZTC allows for homogeneous dispersion of TiO2 particles, providing abundant active sites for photocatalytic reactions. The photocatalytic performance was stable after repeated tests, indicating the durability of the PCM. The middle-carrier method using ZTC is effective in improving the photocatalytic performance of PCM with a lower consumption of TiO2.
研究不足
The study focused on the photocatalytic degradation of acetone under controlled conditions. The long-term stability and performance under varying environmental conditions were not extensively explored. Additionally, the study did not compare the photocatalytic efficiency with other pollutants or under different light intensities.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study involved the preparation of a zeolite/TiO2 composite (ZTC) to enhance the photocatalytic efficiency of cement-based materials. The methodology included alkali activation and calcination of natural zeolite, preparation of TiO2 sol, and mixing with modified zeolite to prepare ZTC.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Natural zeolite was used as the carrier for TiO2, and cement was used as the matrix. The photocatalytic performance was evaluated using acetone degradation experiments.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
Equipment included XRD, SEM-EDS, BET, FTIR, and a home-made gas-phase photocatalysis test device. Materials included natural zeolite, Ordinary Portland Cement, tetrabutyl titanate (TBOT), and acetone.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The process involved modification of zeolite, preparation of TiO2 sol, synthesis of ZTC, preparation of PCM, and evaluation of photocatalytic performance.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The degradation rate of acetone was calculated, and the reaction rate was determined using first-order kinetic models.
