研究目的
To develop a nanoplatform for simultaneous multimodal imaging and combined photodynamic therapy (PDT) and photothermal therapy (PTT) by integrating CuS nanoparticles (PTT agents) and g-C3N4 QDs (PDT agents) on mesoporous silica-coated UCNPs, followed by modification with PEG and folic acid (FA).
研究成果
The developed nanoplatform exhibits excellent optical, photothermal, and photodynamic properties, making it a promising candidate for image-guided therapy. The synergistic effect of PTT and PDT, along with the targeting ability of FA, significantly enhances cancer treatment efficacy. The nanocomposite also shows potential for multimodal imaging applications.
研究不足
The synthesis of the nanocomposite is slightly complicated, although the method is stable and the product is readily prepared. The need for simple materials with efficient anti-cancer efficiency and safety for further exploration.
