1:Experimental Design and Method Selection
A simple drop-casting method was developed for constructing DNA and CT-DNA HTFs added with graphene nanopowder (GNP).
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources
An enzyme isolation processed salmon DNA was purchased from GEM Corporation, Shiga, Japan. DNA was modified with cetyltrimethylammonium chloride (CT-DNA) by an ion-exchange process.

X-ray diffractometer (XRD), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), confocal Raman microscope, FTIR spectrometer, UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometer, PL mapper, and semiconductor parameter analyser.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow
DNA and CT-DNA solutions with distinct [GNP] were prepared and drop-cast onto O2 plasma-cleaned glass/fused silica substrates, followed by drying in ambient conditions.

Structural characterization, compositional analysis, spin states/charge transfer associated with the binding energies, Raman modes, chemical interactions, absorption, photoluminescence, and electrical characteristics were analyzed.
