To develop a low phase noise and low spurious frequency synthesizer based on DDS–PLL–MIX architecture for X-band LFMCW radar application.
研究成果
The synthesizer achieves better than -115dBc/Hz@10kHz phase noise and better than -90dBc spurious in the narrow band. With a better LO signal, phase noise as low as -125dBc/Hz@10kHz at X band signal can be achieved. The final output X-band LFMCW signal shows a linearity of 8.76E-5.

The phase noise of the LO signal affects the final output phase noise performance. A better phase noise performance of LO signal could achieve the ideal output phase noise.
