1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study involved synthesizing EGF-ATTO655 conjugates using NHS chemistry, evaluating fluorescence quenching via PET mechanism, and assessing targeting specificity and imaging utility through in vitro and in vivo experiments.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Human cancer cell lines A431 (EGFR-positive) and NCI-H460 (EGFR-negative) were used, obtained from ATCC. Animal models included Balb/c-nu mice with implanted tumors.
