Open-path Halon 1301 NDIR sensor with temperature compensation
摘要: Halon 1301 (bromotrifluoromethane) is a kind of fire extinguishing agent in aviation industry. Volume concentration measurement of Halon 1301 is necessary in the design of aircraft fire protection systems. In this research, an open-path Halon 1301 non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensor has been developed for in-situ measurement, a novel cavity-type absorption module was designed to get fast response and more compact structure. Experiment results show that measurement was remarkably affected by temperature. Therefore, temperature compensation algorithm was also studied in this thesis, which was proven to be effective within the range of 25 oC-105 oC.

Changes in the IR Spectra of Drinking Water, Melt Water from Snow, and Heavy Water Irradiated by a Nanosecond Electron Beam
摘要: The absorption spectra of drinking water, melt water from snow, and heavy water are studied during irradiation by a nanosecond electron beam. With repeated irradiation of water, a change in the absorption spectrum of the substance was observed. The analysis of water absorption spectra in the IR region shows differences between the absorption spectra of irradiated and nonirradiated water.

Controlling the emission and absorption spectrum of a quantum emitter in a dynamic environment
摘要: We study the emission spectrum and absorption spectrum of a quantum emitter when it is driven by various pulse sequences. We consider the Uhrig sequence of nonequidistant πx pulses, the periodic sequence of πxπy pulses and the periodic sequence of πz pulses (phase kicks). We find that, similar to the periodic sequence of πx pulses, the Uhrig sequence of πx pulses has emission and absorption that are, with small variations, analogous to those of the resonance fluorescence spectrum. In addition, while the periodic sequence of πz pulses produces a spectrum that is dependent on the detuning between the emitter and the pulse carrier frequency, the Uhrig sequence of nonequidistant πx pulses and the periodic sequence of πxπy pulses have spectra with little dependence on the detuning as long as it stays moderate along with the number of pulses. This implies that they can also, similar to the previously studied periodic sequence of πx pulses, be used to tune the emission or absorption of quantum emitters to specific frequencies, to mitigate inhomogeneous broadening and to enhance the production of indistinguishable photons from emitters in the solid state.

摘要: The theoretical calculations of dependences of energy levels and absorption spectra of electrons in the quantum ring by a quasi-parabolic shape on the applied external magnetic field were carried out. The influence of spin-orbit interaction was taken into account in these calculations. Spin-orbit interaction leads to appearance of change in the dependence of absorption frequency of quantum rings on applied magnetic field.

Cu-Doped ZnO Electronic Structure and Optical Properties Studied by First-Principles Calculations and Experiments
摘要: The band structure, the density of states and optical absorption properties of Cu-doped ZnO were studied by the ?rst-principles generalized gradient approximation plane-wave pseudopotential method based on density functional theory. For the Zn1-xCuxO (x = 0, x = 0.0278, x = 0.0417) original structure, geometric optimization and energy calculations were performed and compared with experimental results. With increasing Cu concentration, the band gap of the Zn1-xCuxO decreased due to the shift of the conduction band. Since the impurity level was introduced after Cu doping, the conduction band was moved downwards. Additionally, it was shown that the insertion of a Cu atom leads to a red shift of the optical absorption edge, which was consistent with the experimental results.

Pseudo-Continuous Flow FTIR System for Glucose, Fructose and Sucrose Identification in Mid-IR Range
摘要: In this paper, we present a new FTIR-based micro?uidic system for Glucose, Fructose and Sucrose detection. The proposed micro?uidic system is based on a pseudo-continuous ?ow coupled to a microscope-FTIR instrument. The detection and characterization of sugar samples were performed by recording their absorption spectrum in the wavelength range 700–1000 cm?1 of the Mid-IR region. The proposed pseudo-continuous ?ow system is designed to improve the uniformity of the sample distribution in the analyzed area versus conventional systems. The obtained results for different sugars concentrations, show a very low measurement error of 4.35% in the absorption peak intensity, which is ten times lower than the error obtained using the conventional measurements.

Effects of inter-subband couplings on bound and extended states of terahertz cascade structures
摘要: We theoretically analyze the effect of inter-subband couplings on the eigenstates of a terahertz heterostructure in the presence of coulombic donors. We find that the inter-subband electron-donor interaction causes a drastic reorganization of the eigenenergies and a strong admixture between the subbands that decisively influences the optical absorption spectrum of the structure. These results illustrate the importance of the inter-subband couplings in the formulation of the eigenstates of imperfect terahertz heterostructures.

[Springer Series in Optical Sciences] Fano Resonances in Optics and Microwaves Volume 219 (Physics and Applications) || Study of Fano Resonance in the Core-Level Absorption Spectrum in Terms of Complex Spectral Analysis
摘要: We study theoretically the core absorption spectrum of an impurity embedded in a tight-binding chain in terms of complex spectral analysis. The absorption spectral pro?le associated with the resonance states in principle exhibits an asymmetric Fano-type structure, even without apparent multiple interference transition paths. The asymmetric Fano absorption pro?le is attributed to the complex-valued oscillator strength of the transition to the resonance state belonging to the extended Hilbert space. The boundary condition on the continuum causes a large energy dependence of the self-energy, so that it enhances the nonlinearity of the eigenvalue problem of the effective Hamiltonian, yielding several non-analytic resonance states. The optical transitions to these resonance states constitute the overall absorption spectrum structure.

Tunable spectrum resemblance of LED lights for improving the photosynthetic action of Chinese Cabbages
摘要: To increase efficiency, and reduce energy loss and waste, we propose to improve the photosynthetic action spectrum resemblance (SRPAS) of LED light with the absorption spectra of the fresh leaf, for accelerating the growth of Chinese Cabbages. Eight spectral LED lights were adopted to irradiate Chinese Cabbages under 150 μmol·m-2·s-1 for a 16 hd-1 photoperiod. Of these, under the irradiation of blue + broad red + more yellow (BRY2) light with high spectrum resemblance of 75%, the fresh weight and dry weight are 5.1times and 3.0 times, respectively, and the leaf area and leaf number are 1.7 times, as high as under the blue light. The results demonstrate that the optimized LED light can be presumed to have the highest spectrum resemblance (SRPAS) with the absorption spectra of Chinese Cabbages, and the highest energy-conversion efficiency. These conclusions may be of great benefit to further assess and find either an ideal light applied for plant growth or design of better light sources for growing different plants.

摘要: In this paper, we propose a molecular structure in each processing step of cashmere fibers that by using an IR spectroscopy. When manufacturing cashmere fiber products, hand touch quality and strength often decrease. In order to clarify the cause, cashmere fibers of each process were obtained from Mongolia. Absorption spectra of cashmere fiber can be measured by ATR method in IR spectroscopy. In the washing process, no change in molecular structure was shown and only wool grease was removed. The measured spectra were waveform separated and the molecular structure of the cashmere fiber was analyzed. In the cashmere fibers of each (cid:48)(cid:49)(cid:47)(cid:37)(cid:39)(cid:50)(cid:50)(cid:1)(cid:50)(cid:51)(cid:39)(cid:48)(cid:3)(cid:1)(cid:51)(cid:42)(cid:39)(cid:49)(cid:39)(cid:1)(cid:54)(cid:35)(cid:50)(cid:1)(cid:46)(cid:47)(cid:1)(cid:37)(cid:42)(cid:35)(cid:46)(cid:41)(cid:39)(cid:1)(cid:43)(cid:46)(cid:1)(cid:62)(cid:1)(cid:42)(cid:39)(cid:44)(cid:43)(cid:55)(cid:1)(cid:35)(cid:46)(cid:38)(cid:1)(cid:63)(cid:1) sheet of the secondary structure of the protein. The cashmere fibers in the bleaching and decoloring process steps showed an increase in cysteic acid by the oxidation-reduction reaction. Therefore, the cause of the decline in the quality of cashmere fiber products was chemical treatment in bleaching and decoloring process. This result is applied as a quality evaluation method in the manufacturing process of cashmere textile products.
