    摘要: In wireless-node localization, the receiver processes snapshots collected by its antenna array in order to estimate the direction-of-arrival (DoA) of a source of interest. High-resolution direction finding is commonly carried out by principal-component analysis (PCA) of the collected complex-valued snapshots (subspace-based methods). Standard PCA was recently replaced by corruption-resistant L1-PCA in order to counteract the detrimental impact of unexpected, intermittent jamming. In this paper, we present the first incremental method for complex L1-PCA and employ it for online direction finding, as snapshots naturally arrive in a streaming fashion. Our numerical studies corroborate the computational efficiency and jamming/corruption resistance of the proposed method.

    摘要: With single-input single-output (SISO) SAR systems, employing a single transmitter and receiver beam, there exists a high resolution, wide swath contradiction. However, by using multiple receiver beams and employing array processing techniques, this contradiction can be overcome, allowing greater ?exibility and a wider range of application requirements to be met. In this paper the use of single-input multiple-output (SIMO) SAR systems for overcoming this contradiction is of interest, and a novel beamformer is proposed for processing in the cross-range direction. In order to fully describe the system, the array manifold vector is utilized, which is a key concept in the design of the beamformer. In particular, this beamformer is a superresolution beamformer capable of forming wide nulls using subspace based approaches and allows the suppression of ambiguities in multiple sets of received undersampled SAR data in the cross-range direction and reconstruction of the Doppler spectrum to form a single unambiguous set of SAR data. Compared to the existing reconstruction algorithm, only a single weighting vector is required for a block of ambiguous Doppler frequencies compared to a weight vector required for each ambiguous Doppler frequency. The capabilities of the proposed beamformer are shown to give an improved performance in ambiguity suppression via computer simulation studies in a representative maritime environment.

    摘要: An algorithm is proposed for the detection and joint estimation of target parameters for a radar with a two-element rotating antenna. Rotation of the antenna introduces unwanted effects, which may cause inaccuracy in the parameter estimation. Target detection is performed by adding the processed data from two sensors. Joint estimation of range, Doppler, and direction of arrival (DOA) is carried while compensating the effects of antenna rotation. The detection performance is analyzed in terms of the receiver operating characteristics. Analytical expressions of Cramer–Rao Bound for Doppler, the range and DOA are derived. Computational complexity is also discussed. A simulation demonstrates and veri?es the proposed algorithm and its analyses.

  • Effect of thermal condensation temperature on electrochemical capacitive properties of g-C3N4 supported on reduced TiO2 nanowires/nanotubes array

    摘要: In this work, effect of processing temperature in electrochemical capacitors was investigated for g-C3N4. The g-C3N4 materials (CN) were synthesized by thermal condensation of melamine precursor at different temperature (450, 550 and 650 °C). Then, the g-C3N4 materials were deposited on electrochemically reduced TiO2 nanowires/nanotubes arrays (rTWTA)/Ti substrate. The g-C3N4/rTWTA/Ti electrodes were used as supercapacitor electrodes. Morphology, crystal structure and chemical composition of the g-C3N4/rTWTA/Ti electrodes were studied by FESEM, XRD, FTIR and elemental analysis. Based on galvanostatic charge/discharge measurements, the CN(450)/rTWTA/Ti electrode exhibited the highest specific capacitance up to 22 mF/cm2 at 0.3 mA/cm2 with long cyclic durability at 96.8% capacitance retention after 500 cycle. This effect was attributed to the existence of higher nitrogen content, more active sites, the improved hydrophilicity and three-dimensional morphology of the CN(450)/rTWTA/Ti electrode as compared to the other electrodes. This research introduces the optimum thermal condensation temperature of the melamine for synthesis of the g-C3N4 with great potentials in supercapacitors.
