Fabrication of mechanical controllable, sticky and flexible random lasers based on double-sided tapes
摘要: In this paper, we report on the fabrication of mechanical controllable, sticky and ?exible random lasers based on double-sided tapes that are cheap and commonly available. A double-sided tape is used as the scattering medium. Two di?erent solutions of rhodamine B dye doped with ethylene glycol and SU-8 epoxy based polymer are applied as the gain medium. By investigation of the random laser operating lifetimes for both samples, it is shown that SU-8 epoxy based polymer is the preferred host for dye in practical utilizations. Furthermore, we observe that for the sample fabricated based on the polymeric solution of RhB dye doped SU-8 resin, bending the sample leads to an increase of lasing threshold by 39 MW/cm2. This study can pave the way for manufacturing low cost, simply utilized and mechanical controllable random lasers which can also sticks to di?erent surfaces as the marker.

Effect of evaporated Sb layer on performance of flexible CZTSSe thin film solar cell
摘要: Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)4 (CZTSSe) chalcogenide with natural-abundance, environment-friendly and impressive photovoltaic performance is promising material for kesterite thin film solar cell. In this paper, the effects of evaporated Sb layer on performance of flexible CZTSSe thin film solar cell are investigated. Systematic studies show that the quasi-liquid Sb2Se3 plays productive roles in promoting grain growth, subsequently volatilizes in the elevated selenization temperature without entering into the CZTSSe lattice. Obvious improvements in crystallinity, grain size, surface roughness, hole concentration and device performance are obtained after optimizing the thickness of Sb layer. The electrostatic potential fluctuation extracted from the PL results is found to decrease from 115.9 meV to 60.7 meV after introducing 20 nm evaporated Sb layer. Finally, 20 nm evaporated Sb layer takes effect to the fullest extent which shows a 69% increase in photoelectric conversion efficiency (PCE). The incorporation of Sb opens up access to opportunity in roll-to-roll process for thin film solar cells.

Multiple renal ruptures after flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy with holmium laser
摘要: The authors present a case report of multiple renal ruptures after flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy (FURL) with holmium laser. Multiple renal ruptures following flexible ureterorenoscopy have not been reported so far. The etiology remains unclear. We like to share this case to make urologists aware of this unusual complication and discuss possible causes and therapeutic approaches.

A highly flexible and selective dopamine sensor based on Pt-Au nanoparticle-modified laser-induced graphene
摘要: A highly flexible and selective electrochemical sensor based on a Pt-Au nanoparticles (Pt-AuNPs) modified laser-induced graphene (LIG)/Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) electrode is presented for the detection of dopamine (DA). The Pt-AuNPs exhibited high electrocatalytic activity in response to the oxidation of DA, and the peak current of DA detected by the Pt-AuNPs/LIG/PDMS electrode linearly increased with DA concentration. The fabricated sensor also exhibited an excellent sensitivity of approximately 865.80 μA/mM cm?2 and a detection limit of 75 nM in a neutral solution. In addition, it showed high selectivity for interfering compounds such as like uric acid (UA) and ascorbic acid (AA). Clearly defined current peaks, with a separation of approximately 0.11 V, were observed for DA and UA. Finally, DA was successfully detected in human urine.

Photovoltaic Module Reliability || What does the Future Hold for PV and a Brief Summary
摘要: The discussions in the previous chapters looked at both the history and present‐day status of photovoltaics (PV) module reliability and the accelerated stress testing associated with it. In this final chapter, the focus will shift to the future. PV is a dynamic industry so the technology and the testing standards are constantly evolving. The first section in this chapter will provide an update on the changes already in progress for some of the more important module qualification and safety standards. The second section will switch to a longer‐range view, discussing how PV module reliability is likely to change in the future and what sort of accelerated stress testing will be necessary to validate the quality of the huge volume of modules produced. The book will end with a brief summary of the status of PV module reliability today.

Molecular engineering of a conjugated polymer as a hole transporting layer for versatile p–i–n perovskite solar cells
摘要: Along with the development of perovskite materials, which have enormous potential for optoelectronics such as solar cells and light-emitting diode devices, numerous organic semiconductor polymers, which have been critically adopted into the hole and electron transporting layers, have been synthesized and studied. In neiep-structured perovskite solar cells, various outstanding polymer materials have been successfully applied. However, in peien-structured solar cells, the hydrophobic nature of the polymers makes the sequential deposition of a perovskite thin ?lm dif?cult. Several destructive methods have been proposed; however, a more ef?cacious and fundamental method is urgently needed. Here, we present a nondestructive polymer hole-transporting layer (HTL) thin-?lm formation process based on molecular engineering via a simple solvent process. When we used various solvents with different volatilities, perovskite ?lm formation was achieved on polymer thin ?lms formed from highly volatile solvents. In addition, we elucidated the structure and orientation of the molecules in the ?lms and revealed that the molecular structure of face-on orientation for the horizontally aligned hydrophobic alkyl groups induced a lower surface energy of the ?lm, as determined by grazing-incidence wide-angle X-ray scattering (GIWAXS) measurements. Furthermore, the tilt angle of the molecules, which was calculated from the results of quantitative near-edge X-ray absorption ?ne structure (NEXAFS) analysis, was found to correlate with the surface energy. This result provides guidance for polymer-orientation and surface-energy studies, and perovskite solar cells fabricated using the polymer HTL demonstrated good durability and ?exibility. We expect that our approach represents a new route for fabricating peien-structured solar cells and that numerous valuable p-type conjugated polymers will be developed via our proposed molecular engineering process.

High-Performance Free-Standing Flexible Photodetectors Based on Sulfur-Hyperdoped Ultrathin Silicon
摘要: Flexible photodetectors (PDs) prepared with silicon-based materials have received considerable attention for use in a wide range of portable and wearable applications. In this study, we present the first free-standing flexible PD based on sulfur-hyperdoped ultrathin silicon, which was fabricated using a femtosecond laser in SF6 atmosphere. It is found that the fabricated device exhibits excellent performance of broadband photoresponse from 400 to 1200 nm, with peak responsivity of 63.79 A/W @ 870 nm at a low bias voltage of -2 V, corresponding to an external quantum efficiency reaching 9092%, which surpasses most values reported for silicon-based flexible PDs. In addition, the device shows a fast response speed (rise time τr=68 μs) and stable detection performance with good mechanical flexibility. The high-performance PD described here suggests a promising way in flexible applications for sensors, imaging systems, and optical communication systems.

Self-assembly of a lateral quasi-Ohmic CuInSe <sub/>2</sub> /InSe isotype heterojunction for flexible devices by pulsed laser deposition
摘要: The contacts between two-dimensional InSe films and metal electrodes play an important role in nanoelectronics flexible devices. Generally, there is a large work function difference between the Au and InSe films, which would form a Schottky contact to deteriorate device performances. Herein, we designed a lateral self-assembled CuInSe2/InSe isotype heterojunction on a flexible mica substrate by pulsed laser deposition, which could improve the contact performances between electrodes and InSe films. By combining the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Kelvin probe force microscopy results, the In rich CuInSe2 and InSe regions could act as quasi-n+-n junctions for reduction of the contact resistance with electrodes. Compared to the InSe films with Au electrodes, the CuInSe2/InSe isotype heterojunction presents approximately half channel resistance and four times photocurrent values. Moreover, the heterojunction devices can still maintain relatively good performance under bending states by restraining the dark current. The present work proves the potential of CuInSe2/InSe isotype heterojunctions for flexible applications.

Porous POM/PLLA membranes decorated with gold nanoparticles as flexible and efficient plasmonic substrates for surface-enhanced Raman scattering
摘要: In this work, we have developed a flexible and efficient Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrate by a facile way of fabricating gold nanoparticles (NPs) decorated Poly(oxymethylene)/poly(L-lactic acid) (POM/PLLA) membranes. Firstly, POM/PLLA membranes were aminolyzed by1,6-hexanediamine to render the membranes with amino groups and porous structure simultaneously. The membranes were then immersed in tetrachloroauric acid (H4AuCl4) solution, where the AuCl4 anions were able to complex with the free amine groups of POM/PLLA, followed by in situ reduction by sodium borohydride to immobilize Au NPs on POM/PLLA membranes. The POM/PLLA/Au membranes exhibited high SERS sensitivity as well as good Raman signal reproducibility for rhodamine 6G (R6G). The minimum detection concentration was 10?14 M and the enhancement factor was calculated to be 1.54 × 109.

Laser dot projection videogrammetry for vibration measurement and control of a piezoelectric flexible cantilever plate
摘要: A novel full-field non-contact vibration measurement method is investigated for a piezoelectric flexible cantilever plate, using laser dot-projection videogrammetry. Several laser dots are projected as marks for visual system. The three-dimensional coordinates of each mark are monitored by a binocular stereo vision system, composed of two cameras. After image processing, the vibration signal of the first bending mode is obtained. For the first torsional mode, two laser displacement sensors are utilized to detect the vibration. To suppress the residual vibration quickly, an adaptive nonlinear controller and a fuzzy tuning nonlinear controller are designed and adopted. To verify the investigated measurement and control methods, experiments are conducted by using a piezoelectric flexible cantilever plate experimental platform. The experimental results demonstrate that the investigated laser dot projection measurement method is effective for first bending vibration detection. Furthermore, compared with PD control, the adopted nonlinear algorithms have better damping performance, especially for small amplitude residual vibration.
