摘要: These days’ RF communication frequencies, and technology is advancing towards a higher frequency spectrum with wide bandwidth for higher data rate, miniaturization and portability. For high frequency and wide bandwidth a low loss, efficient and compact wideband microstrip antenna development with convenient analysis is crucial. In this paper, we developed a wide band highly efficient stack patch antenna for Ku-band and analyze the model with characteristics mode analysis. The developed antenna has -10dB impedance bandwidth from 13.1-15.2GHz and -30dB bandwidth from 14-14.5GHz. Higher impedance matching leads to higher efficiency and high gain for the target center frequency of 14.25GHz.

Design of Substrate Integrated Gap Waveguide and Their Transitions to Microstrip Line, for Millimeter-Wave Applications
摘要: This paper offers an approximate, but very convenient and accurate, manner to find the desired strip width for substrate integrated gap waveguide (SIGW) with a given characteristic impedance and the conductor and dielectric attenuation constants, without any complicated manual calculations or time-consuming full-wave simulation and optimization iterations. Moreover, the investigation of the transition between SIGW and microstrip lines will prove that an additional transition structure, such as a conventional microstrip taper, is not required any more at millimeter-wave frequencies for the desired transmission performance. This is a useful feature in circuit design and compactness. Both of the above works will be of great help to realize future feeding networks for SIGW antenna arrays or other types of cost-effective SIGW passive components at high frequencies. Two SIGW prototypes, working at Ka and V bands, are fabricated and offer experimental verifications, which present good agreement with the simulation results.

摘要: The Electroluminescence (EL) analysis and the current-voltage (I-V) curves determination of PhotoVoltaic (PV) generators are the most used diagnosis methods to check the presence of defects. In the present work, these tests are applied to Interdigitated Back Contact (IBC) PV modules with customizable shape after their manufacturing. A defect is detected in a large number of modules, suggesting an issue related to the semi-automatic manufacturing procedure. Therefore, a detailed analysis is carried out to localize the cause of the defect and a preventive action is proposed in order to reduce the occurrence frequency of the defect during manufacturing.

摘要: The GF-1 WFV image on April 3, 2017 was selected to extract the cultivated area of rape in Haimen city of Jiangsu province. Vegetation indexes and texture features were extracted from the original spectrum data in order to extract rape area with Maximum Likelihood Classifier (MLC) and Support Vector Machine (SVM). The extraction accuracy of rape was verified through on-site GPS measurement of 4 ground samples area with the scale of 500 m × 500 m. The rape area extraction accuracy of the combination which contained spectrum and vegetation indexes was 71.28% that was the highest among all combinations. It indicated that the GF-1 satellite image can be used for monitoring the cultivated area of rape and it has higher accuracy and broad application prospects in the field of agriculture remote sensing monitoring.

Time- and Space-Varying Atmospheric Phase Correction in Discontinuous Ground-Based Synthetic Aperture Radar Deformation Monitoring
摘要: Ground-based synthetic aperture radar (GB-SAR) uses active microwave remote-sensing observation mode to achieve two-dimensional deformation measurement and deformation trend extraction, which shows great prospects in the field of deformation monitoring. However, in the process of GB-SAR deformation monitoring, the disturbances caused by atmospheric effect cannot be neglected, and the atmospheric phases will seriously affect the precision of deformation monitoring. In discontinuous GB-SAR deformation monitoring mode, the atmospheric phases are particularly affected by changes of time and space, so the traditional models of atmospheric phase correction are no longer applicable. In this paper, the interferometric phase signal model considering atmospheric phase is first established. Then, the time- and space-varying characteristics of the atmospheric phase are analyzed, and a novel time- and space-varying atmospheric phase correction algorithm, based on coherent scatterers analysis, is proposed. Finally, slope deformation monitoring experiments are carried out to verify the validity and robustness of the proposed algorithm.

摘要: In this paper, microstrip antenna is analyzed using the theory of characteristic modes (TCMs). Modal weighting coefficient (MWC) under the excitation of plane wave are further calculated. Additional slots are introduced to lower the resonant frequency of scattering modes, which results in smaller modal frequency band. Monostatic RCS of the microstrip antenna have a certain degree of reduction.

摘要: The methodology of predicting radio frequency identification (RFID) passive tag power supply system reliability is developed. The reliability of a RFID passive tag power supply system is estimated in terms of a parametric failure associated with the I-V characteristics drift of resonant-tunneling diodes (RTD) that are a part of the tag rectifier under the influence of external factors beyond the tolerance limits. The methodology of the time to failure of the RFID passive tag power supply system calculation by the criterion of the minimum permissible range is presented. The developed methodology can be used in the design of RFID systems with passive UHF and SHF tags to predict their reliability under specified operating conditions. The developed algorithms and software modules can be integrated into the corresponding CAD systems.

GROWTH CHARACTERISTIC OF GZO FILM FABRICATED BY RF MAGNETRON SPUTTERING
摘要: This paper investigate the dependence of film thickness onto characteristic of Gallium doped Zinc Oxide (GZO). GZO films were deposited on a glass substrate by RF Magnetron Sputtering using GZO ceramic target with 99.99% purity. Thicknesses were altered by varying the deposition time from 10 min to 50 min meanwhile the sputtering power, argon flow and target distance were fixed in order to investigate the influence of film thickness to the growth characteristic, structural, optical properties and surface morphology of the films. Sputtering was performed with RF power of 100 watt and the argon flow was set at 10 sccm. GZO thin films on various thicknesses range from 130 nm to 460 nm were successfully deposited onto glass substrate with the crystallite grain size in range of 20.63 nm to 22.04 nm with the optical transmittance above 85 %.

The Evaluation of Static Deficiencies of Lower Limbs with the Use of Non-Contact Measurement
摘要: The purpose of this paper is to develop a procedure of the lower limbs volumetric modelling using the laser measurement arm and the evaluation of defects, which can cause disorders in the field of locomotion. The procedure is presented based on the analysis of two specimens: woman (age 22) and man (age 23), whose lower limbs are fully formed. The method includes the laser scanning and the lower limbs regularity evaluation based on the characteristic lines, which were identified during palpation examination of the skin and bones characteristic points or during the radiological examination. The valgus knee and the knee joint hyperextension were determined for the woman’s case and no deficiencies for the man’s case. Presented procedure has a screening application and can support the rehabilitation process. The advantage is that the developed method is noninvasive and the diagnostics can be performed while muscles are active in the natural standing position. The SL method was verified by the Laser Tracker system. On the group of 55 students with the average age of 10.4 years, the measurements were performed in order to define the influence of BMI on the correctness of the results, which were achieved while using the proposed method of the evaluation of the static deficiencies. No relevant influence of BMI on errors occurring in the determination of defects valgus and varus of the lower limbs.

摘要: Characteristic mode (CM) analysis is conducted in this paper to understand the physical aspects of a compact planar quasi-Yagi antenna at the lowest resonant frequency for achieving bandwidth enhancement and electrical size reduction. The quasi-Yagi antenna comprises a microstrip feeding line, a driver dipole and two parasitic strips. The driver dipole is modified by symmetrically adding two capacitive coupling structures, which are connected with the ground plane in the other end, through examining the behavior of the CMs. A capacitor with proper value is adopted in the feeding line for better impedance matching in the higher band. Through the work in this paper, the lowest frequency with VSWR < 2 is extended to 3.09 GHz from 3.65 GHz with no physical size enlarged. Its bandwidth is enhanced with a ratio of about 3.78 : 1.
