  • One-Step Leapfrog HIE-FDTD for Drude Media

    摘要: A one-step leapfrog hybrid implicit–explicit finite-difference time-domain (HIE-FDTD) method is developed for Drude dispersive media. The Drude media is modeled through a current source characterized by a semi-implicit auxiliary differential equation. The stability condition is the same as that of conventional leapfrog HIE-FDTD and is determined by the grid cell size along only one direction. The proposed method is used to efficiently investigate the properties of surface plasmon polaritons propagating along a one-atom-thick graphene sheet in low terahertz band with a very fine grid.

  • Lignin-controlled photocatalyst of porous BiVO4-C nanocomposite for enhancing photocatalytic activity toward pollutant under visible-light

    摘要: Explorations of biomass materials have emerged as a novel strategy to control the synthesis of semiconductor and improve the photocatalytic performance. Here, a lignin-derived porous structure of BiVO4-C nanocomposite was prepared via one-step hydrothermal approach. In the preparation process, lignin not only effectively controlled the growth of BiVO4 but also carbonized to form a porous structure of biochar-based semiconductor photocatalyst. The studies demonstrated that the BiVO4-C nanocomposite have enhanced photocatalytic activity due to the departure of electron-hole pairs and charge migration. These insights provided useful insight for the design of efficient biomass-based photocatalyst for environmental protection and green energy.

  • One-step fabrication of trimetallic alloy nanozyme catalyzer for luminol-H2O2 chemiluminescence and its application for miRNA-21 detection coupled with miRNA walking machine

    摘要: PtCuCo trimetallic alloys (PtCuCo-TAs) are synthesized by one-step reduction. The chemiluminescence (CL) properties of PtCuCo-TAs are studied systemically. PtCuCo-TAs show good catalyzing for luminol-H2O2 system. A CL platform is developed for the detection of miRNA-21 using PtCuCo-TAs as nanozyme catalyzer. In the CL detection platform, H1 (Hairpin DNA1) is immobilized onto magnetic beads (MBs) firstly. In the presence of miRNA-21, H1 is opened. H2 (Hairpin DNA2) then hybridizes with H1. Meanwhile, a "cleat" in the end of miRNA-21 with a fewer bases complementary is formed to prevent miRNA-21 dissociating from H1. This miRNA-21 hybridizes to another H1. When cpDNA-PtCuCo-TAs which consisted with cDNA (Complementary strand of probe DNA) and pDNA-PtCuCo-TAs (PtCuCo-TAs labeled with probe DNA) are added, the ssDNA region of H1 reacts with the toehold domain of probe DNA and cDNA is released resulting pDNA-PtCuCo-TAs being captured. With this process repeatedly, a lot of pDNA-PtCuCo-TAs are captured onto MBs. After separation and washing, the precipitate and H2O2 are put into the 96-well and luminol solution is injected. The CL signal is produced by PtCuCo-TAs catalyzing luminol-H2O2 system. The amount of miRNA-21 is detected with CL signal. This CL platform performs with limit of detection 0.167 fM and has good selectivity over other RNA.

  • Comprehensive characterization of CIGS absorber layers grown by one-step sputtering process

    摘要: We have demonstrated that the use of a one-step sputtering process allowed for the fabrication of copper indium gallium diselenide (CIGS) thin films by RF magnetron sputtering without an additional selenization process. The CIGS thin films deposited at different substrate temperatures were synthesized on soda-lime glass (SLG) substrates using a single quaternary CIGS target. The film composition ratios of ([Cu]/[In]+[Ga]), ([Ga]/[In]+[Ga]), and ([Se]/[Cu]+[In]+[Ga]) were almost consistent with those of the sputtering target. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman results showed that the crystallinity of the CIGS thin films was gradually improved as substrate temperatures increased. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) showed that the films grown at 600 °C have a columnar structure with the grain size of ~100 nm. In addition, for the CIGS films grown at 600 °C, TEM-EDX analysis revealed that the synchronized fluctuation of the Cu and Se signals was observed in the direction of the film depth, while the In and Ga signals were constant. As a result, the CIGS solar cell made using the film showed a degraded cell efficiency of 2.5%, which might be have been caused by not only Cu-rich and Se-poor compositions but the locally unstable composition in the CIGS films fabricated by one-step sputtering.

  • Optical properties of the perovskite films deposited on meso-porous TiO2 by one step and hot casting techniques

    摘要: In this work, CH3NH3PbI3 is coated on meso-porous TiO2 films via one step method (OSM) and hot casting technique (HCT). The optical properties of the solution-processed organic inorganic halide perovskite layers deposited on meso-structured TiO2 scaffolds are investigated using UV–Vis reflectance and transmittance spectroscopies at the wavelength range of 400–900 nm. Optical parameters including refractive index, extinction coefficient, real and imaginary parts of the dielectric constants, optical conductivity and direct and indirect optical band gaps are calculated and compared for the perovskite films created by above mentioned methods. Optical band gaps are determined from the absorption coefficient values using Tauc's power law. The obtained values of direct band gap for two perovskite films are close to each other (1.56 and 1.58 eV for perovskite layer deposited by OSM and HCT respectively). For both prepared films, the difference between direct and indirect band gaps is 60 meV which is in very good agreement with that reported in literature. In addition to the difference between the perovskite morphology, the optical absorption of perovskite layers created by the HCT is less than that of layers prepared by OSM and therefore the amount of generated photo current is less. This is the main reason that causes the efficiency of perovskite solar cells prepared by HCT (3.0 %) is ~38% less than that of cells created by OSM (4.15 %).

  • One step fabrication of dual optically/magnetically modulated walnut-like micromotor

    摘要: In this paper, we report a novel multi-responsive walnut-like micromotor consisting of polycaprolactone (PCL), iron oxide nanoparticles (Fe3O4NPs) and catalase, which is constructed through a one-step electrospinning method. Based on the catalytic activity and photothermal and magnetic responsiveness originating from catalase and Fe3O4NPs, respectively, the resulting micromotor exhibits autonomous movement in the presence of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) fuel, controlled motion velocity under light irradiation and guided movement direction upon the application of an external magnetic field. Owing to the hydrophobic nature of the PCL polymer constituent inside the micromotor, the autonomous moving micromotor can collect spilled oil inside a solution once it collides with the oil droplet. Since the micromotor could be separated out using a magnetic field, we believe the current walnut-like micromotor holds great promise in the field of environmental remediation.

  • One-Step Synthesis of Ag@TiO2 Nanoparticles for Enhanced Photocatalytic Performance

    摘要: Polyamide network polymers (PNP) modi?ed TiO2 nanoparticles (NPs) were decorated with Ag NPs in hydrothermal gel method, forming one-step synthesized photocatalysts, Ag@TiO2 NPs. The effect of PNP and the amount of Ag NPs added were investigated in this work. PNP acted as a nanocage to prevent TiO2 aggregation and capture Ag accurately, which could effectively control product sizes and improve dispersibility in solvents. Simultaneously, TiO2 NPs modi?ed with Ag NPs exhibited remarkable photocatalytic effects. One-step synthesis simpli?ed the experimental process and avoided the agglomeration of silver ions during the secondary reaction, achieving the purpose of uniform distribution at a speci?c location of TiO2 NPs. The prepared Ag@TiO2 NPs-0.5 could remove 79.49% of Methyl Orange (MO) after 3 h of ultraviolet light irradiation, which was 2.7 times higher than the reaction rate of pure TiO2 NPs. It also exhibited good photoactivity under Visible light conditions. Moreover, the mineralization rate of MO over the Ag@TiO2 NPs-0.5 could be up to 72.32% under UV light and 47.08% under Visible light irradiation, which revealed that the prepared catalysts could effectively degrade most of the MO to CO2 and H2O. The samples also demonstrated the excellent stability and easy recyclability with over 90% of the original catalytic level for MO degradation. The photocatalysts studied also exerted broad application prospects such as photovoltaic hydrogen production, electronic sensors and biomedicine.

  • Completely aqueous route for metallization of structural polymeric materials in micro-electro-mechanical systems

    摘要: A one-step aqueous diazonium-based process has been proved e?cient with respect to the covalent grafting of aminophenyl layers onto KMPR photoresist polymer. In contact with acidic palladium chloride solution for only a few minutes, the positively charged protonated aminophenyl groups on the modi?ed KMPR surface can electrostatically immobilize PdCl4 2? complexes. This KMPR surface functionalized with palladium-aminophenyl complex activators enables initialize the subsequent autocatalytic deposition of nickel (electroless nickel plating) and leads to a formation of adhesive nickel-boron ?lm onto KMPR substrate. Our proposed green chemistry strategy for the metallization of KMPR photoresist polymer via the diazonium reduction suggests an opportunity to bene?t from the incomparable physico-chemical properties of KMPR by integrating it within MEMS structures. The obtained 60 nm thick and compact nickel?boron alloy (93:7 by weight), evidenced through SEM, AFM and XPS techniques, can be used as a conductive seed layer for direct electrolytic deposition of copper. Consequently, a vacuum-free process for copper ?lling of mechanical features etched inside the KMPR layer has been demonstrated.

  • One-step preparation of single-layered graphene quantum dots for the detection of Fe3+

    摘要: Single-layer graphene quantum dots are highly desirable while their facile and controllable preparations remain challenging. Herein, single-layered graphene quantum dots (sl-GQDs) were developed via a facile one-step hydrothermal synthesis, with citric acid and β-cyclodextrin (CD) as starting materials. The sl-GQDs decorated with CD molecules emit green fluorescence with a quantum yield of 5.34%, and exhibit a good response exclusively to ferric ions for their structural oxygenous groups. The linear range of the proposed sensor for ferric ions was found in a wide concentration range of 0-85 μM. The detection limit is about 0.26 μM. The sl-GQDs based sensing platform also demonstrates its feasibility in real water sample analysis with recoveries of 93.8%-101.5%.

  • Platinum counter electrodes for dye-sensitized solar cells prepared by one-step dipping process

    摘要: When designing counter electrodes (CEs) to enhance the performance of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs), facile routes are important features. Platinum (Pt) metal is one of the most-promising CE designs for DSSCs. Herein, we developed a simple, and cost-effective one-step dipping process for preparing Pt CEs in DSSCs. The Pt CEs were prepared by dipping fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) in a 3-mercaptopropyl triethoxysilane (MTS)-Pt suspension. We tested and compared MTS-1-Pt, MTS-10-Pt, and sputtered-Pt as CEs in DSSCs. MTS-1-Pt and MTS-10-Pt refer to samples prepared with 1 and 10 ml of MTS, respectively. DSSCs with MTS-1-Pt CEs exhibited power conversion efficiency (PCE) values as high as 8.28%, which was superior to the DSSCs using MTS-10-Pt as the CEs (1.61%). Additionally, the DSSCs with MTS-1-Pt CE showed mostly similar PCEs compared to those with sputtered-Pt (8.55%) because of the same catalytic activity with iodide. Thus, this modified Pt CE facile process can be used to further enhance the performance of DSSCs.
