摘要: T/R module is an important part of large phased array radar antenna array, the remaining useful life (RUL) prediction is of great significance for equipment support personnel to master current health status and improve maintenance support ability. At first, the key indexes of multi-state degradation are extracted by association rule, by calculating the similarity of the key indexes and combining the RUL of similar samples, the RUL information corresponding to the key indexes is obtained. The RUL prediction results of T/R module are obtained according to the weight of different indexes. The practicability and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified by example analysis and comparison, which provide theoretical guidance for the RUL prediction of electronic equipment. The proposed method is of great significance for maintenance support personnel of the military equipment to plan the maintenance resources reasonably and improve the combat effectiveness of the equipment.

A true-time-delay transmit/receive module for X-band subarray phased arrays
摘要: This letter presents the implementation of a 6-bit true-time-delay (TTD) transmit/receive (T/R) module in X-band. Improved phase linearity is achieved by using thin film coplanar waveguide transmission lines than traditional microstrip lines or lumped LC components of the most other TTD designs. In order to meet the requirement of the large dynamic temperature range in practice, the hybrid coupler reflective phase shifters with varactor diodes are adopted in long-time-delay units as temperature compensations for thermal phase drift. Experimental results of this TTD T/R module are carried out within a bandwidth of 1.2 GHz at X-band. The gain flatness is better than 1 dB and RMSE of the phase errors is less than 7° in all the transmitting and receiving delay states.

Benefits, problems and challenges of plant factories with artificial lighting (PFALs): a short review
摘要: The benefits and problems to be solved and challenges for plant factories with artificial lighting (PFALs) are discussed. The benefits include high resource-use efficiency, high annual productivity per unit land area, and production of high-quality plants without using pesticides, regardless of weather. A major problem to be solved is high initial investment and operation costs. Challenges for the next-generation smart PFALs include the introduction of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence with the use of big data, genomics and phenomics (or methodologies and protocols for noninvasive measurement of plant-specific traits related to plant structure and function).

摘要: We propose the method to calculate the degradation rate of PV modules by outdoor linear interpolation method (LIM). Since the reference I-V curves which are based on measured I-V curves and used to LIM are created in each season, transitions of expected I-V curves indicate how PV modules degrade. The degradation rates of not only the maximum power but also the other parameters such as short circuit current and open circuit voltage can be calculated from the expected I-V curves. In this paper, the outdoor degradation rates of poly crystalline Si and CIGS were calculated. As a result, in poly crystalline Si case, the degradation rate of maximum power was calculated as -0.4 %/year due to short circuit current reduction. In CIGS case, although the initial power generation performance was better than the datasheet value, the annual degradation rate of the maximum power was calculated as -2.1 %/year. The reason of maximum power reduction was the reduction of both short-circuit current and open-circuit voltage.

摘要: The ?uctuating nature of solar power generation makes the coupling of energy storage and solar energy inevitable. This paper explores the integration of all the typical components of a PV-battery system in one single module, introducing a prototype of the so-called PV-Battery Integrated Module (PBIM). The electrical and thermal performance of the prototype were studied in order to analyse its behaviour under severe testing conditions. The prototype exhibited an appropriate charging ef?ciency of 95.7% on average, while the battery pack operated safely (at less than 45°C). When compared to a conventional system (battery and charge controller in a separated manner), the mean solar panel temperature of the prototype was 9.34% higher. However, in terms of power, the thermal losses in the PBIM resulted in an average increase of just 1.3 W (4.6%) in comparison to a conventional system. The testing validated the applicability of the integrated concept in harsh conditions, providing valuable information for future design improvements.

77-GHz mmWave antenna array on liquid crystal polymer for automotive radar and RF front-end module
摘要: This paper introduces a low‐cost, high‐performance mmWave antenna array module at 77 GHz. Conventional waveguide transitions have been replaced by 3D CPW‐microstrip transitions which are much simpler to realize. They are compatible with low‐cost substrate fabrication processes, allowing easy integration of ICs in 3D multi‐chip modules. An antenna array is designed and implemented using multilayer coupled‐fed patch antenna technology. The proposed 16 × 16 array antenna has a fractional bandwidth of 8.4% (6.5 GHz) and a 23.6‐dBi realized gain at 77 GHz.

Mechanisms of adhesion degradation at the photovoltiac module's cell metallization-encapsulant interface
摘要: Adhesion measurements and chemical characterization of the encapsulant/silver metallization interface of a photovoltaic (PV) module through temperature, humidity, and voltage bias exposures were conducted. Results demonstrate two independent degradation mechanisms: (a) with voltage bias, the ionic conduction of Na+ ions through the encapsulant results in the formation of sodium silicate at the silver metallization surface, thereby weakening that interface and (b) with moisture ingress, dissociation of the silane bonding to silver in the silver oxide similarly weakens this interface resulting in significantly lower debond energies.

摘要: This paper studies the reliability of high power module package in torque mounting assembly process and temperature cycling reliability by simulation. The power module package, which with initial warpage, will be mounted on an outer heat sink with torque first and follow by in temperature cycling test. A complicated 3D non-linear finite element model was developed to simulate these two processes together. The package warpage and die stress/strain are discussed and analyzed to evaluate the die crack risk in customer’s application. A warpage simulation was run firstly to get the package’s initial status before torque mounting. Secondly the package with initial warpage is mounted on an outer heatsink with two screws at package two edges. Small pre-tightening torque and big final tightening torque are applied on two screws step by step. Finally, the temperature cycling loading is applied on the package together with loading. Silicon die stress/strain are studied to evaluate the die crack risk in customer’s application. The actual measured warpage data at room temperature is correlated with the simulation results. Finally, the models with different package warpages and different final-tightening torques at screws were investigated to increase the reliability performance of this power module package.

摘要: This paper proposes a multi-channel millimeter wave transmitter module with high isolation between channels. For reducing its cost, one multi-layer FR4 board is used to realize the routing of DC and control signals in each channel. Power divider MMICs, capacitors, and resistors are sealed on the top metal layer of FR4. Furthermore, a Rogers 5880 board which implements the millimeter wave transmission, can obtain low insertion loss. In order to get high isolation between channels and series amplifiers, some metal iris walls are introduced to acquire better physical isolation. Electro-magnetic simulation of the cavity is demonstrated to push the resonant frequencies away from work frequency. Finally, the millimeter wave transmitter module is presented with an extremely low weight of only 41 grams by this technology, its output power greater than 35.5dBm and efficiency higher than 16 percent, respectively.
