    摘要: An algorithm is proposed for the detection and joint estimation of target parameters for a radar with a two-element rotating antenna. Rotation of the antenna introduces unwanted effects, which may cause inaccuracy in the parameter estimation. Target detection is performed by adding the processed data from two sensors. Joint estimation of range, Doppler, and direction of arrival (DOA) is carried while compensating the effects of antenna rotation. The detection performance is analyzed in terms of the receiver operating characteristics. Analytical expressions of Cramer–Rao Bound for Doppler, the range and DOA are derived. Computational complexity is also discussed. A simulation demonstrates and veri?es the proposed algorithm and its analyses.

    摘要: Models of biochemical reaction networks commonly contain a large number of parameters, while at the same time, there is only a limited amount of (noisy) data available for their estimation. As such, the values of many parameters are not well known as nominal parameter values have to be determined from the open scientific literature and a significant number of the values may have been derived in different cell types or organisms than that which is modeled. There clearly is a need to estimate at least some of the parameter values from experimental data; however, the small amount of available data and the large number of parameters commonly found in these types of models require the use of regularization techniques to avoid overfitting. A tutorial of regularization techniques, including parameter set selection, precedes a case study of estimating parameters in a signal transduction network. Cross-validation results rather than fitting results are presented to further emphasize the need for models that generalize well to new data instead of simply fitting the current data.

    摘要: In this paper, a modi?ed version of the directional bat algorithm (DBA) is proposed to fast and accurately extract the ?ve parameters of the one-diode photovoltaic model from experimental data. In order to improve the exploit feature of the DBA, a random ?ight step based on the L′evy distribution is introduced. Additionally a dynamic procedure to correct any solution found which violates the established parameters bounds, during the solution process, is proposed. Tests were carried out on two commercial photovoltaic devices and the results demonstrated that for these two cases at least, the proposed algorithm named L′evy ?ight directional bat algorithm (LDBA), is more ef?cient and robust than the DBA and other well-established metaheuristic algorithms presented in the literature.

  • Extraction of Uncertain Parameters of Double-Diode Model of a Photovoltaic Panel Using Simulated Annealing Optimization

    摘要: In this article, our goal is to improve the estimation of the parameters of solar photovoltaic models by using the simulated annealing (SA) algorithm. The proposed approach takes into account the uncertainties of measurements. This approach consists of three steps. The ?rst is the extraction of the parameters in a conventional manner based on SA. Then, in order to reduce the search interval of parameters, we will determine the uncertainties of the measurements of each parameter. Finally, we will determine the instantaneous parameters, taking into account the results of the ?rst two steps. For the validation of proposed theoretical developments, the proposed approach is applied to two di?erent commercial solar panel parameter estimation problems (the monocrystalline solar module STM6-40/36 and the polycrystalline silicon cells photovoltaic module Sharp ND-R250A5). The results obtained are compared with well-established algorithms to con?rm its e?ectiveness. These comparisons have shown that the proposed method exhibits largely more e?ective performances than existing methods in the literature.

    摘要: The parameters estimation problem for the equivalent admittance circuit model of piezoelectric transducers with high non-linearity near the resonance frequency is studied. A novel Genetic-Particle Swarm Optimization (GA-PSO) algorithm with cascade structure is proposed. The variance of fitness value of population as a criterion is given to evaluate the population convergence, and the population convergence is used as an adaptive switching strategy of Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO) to Genetic Algorithm(GA). The proposed GA-PSO method can also be used for estimating parameters of others. Simulation results are provided to demonstrate the feasibility. Comparison of the proposed GA-PSO method with the existing method is given, which shows that the GA-PSO algorithm is more efficient.

  • STUDY OF AN ANNULAR PHOTOREACTOR WITH TANGENTIAL INLET AND OUTLET.II. THE UV/H <sub/>2</sub> O <sub/>2</sub> REACTIVE FLOW

    摘要: The concentration profiles of species involved in the degradation of phenol by an advanced oxidation processes (AOP) are modeled using a CFD tool, in an annular reactor whose fluid dynamics was the object of a previous study. The reactive flow was fully described together with the kinetic model, which encompasses large kinetic constants, such as 101 0 L mol-1 s-1, and the radiation field. Phenol degradation can be simulated b y using relaxation factors of 1012 kg m-3 s-1 at least. The hydroxyl radical concentration profile, depends on the radiation field, performed by the discrete ordinate (DO) and the discrete transfer (DT) methods. Phenol can be completely degraded along the reactor. A centrifugal effect was observed, with higher concentration of degradation products along the inner wall at the reactor outlet.

    摘要: Natural images suffer from degradations in imaging system, and image blur is a major source of them. Most existing approaches aim to estimate a blur kernel via an alternating optimization method in multiscale space. However, in our practical project application, we need to deal with motion blurs come from moving conveyor belts. In this case, the degradation model and its orientation are known to us. In this paper, we propose a self-adaptive image deblurring method to deal with it. The model parameters are optimized by a heuristic algorithm, and the latent images are deblurred by a technique based on (cid:2352)(cid:2778)-norm constraint. Simulation results show that our method not only acts on motion blur model, but also can deal with atmosphere turbulence model and defocus model, and the comparison results indicate that it outperforms others’. Furthermore, it is able to deal with motion blur in real scenes with high efficiency.
