  • Optical temperature sensing of Eu3+-doped oxyhalide glasses containing CsPbBr3 perovskite quantum dots

    摘要: A new strategy for optical thermometer with high sensitivity was developed herein by employing exciton recombination of CsPbBr3 quantum dots as temperature detecting signal and 4f→4f transition Eu3t ions as reference one. A series of structural and spectroscopic characterizations confirmed that CsPbBr3 perovskite quantum dots were successfully precipitated and Eu3t doping activators remained in glass matrix. Benefited from their completely different thermal-quenching behaviors, fluorescence intensity ratio of exciton recombination and Eu3t emission in nanocomposite exhibited excellent temperature sensing property in the temperature ranging from 93 K to 383 K. The maximum absolute and relative temperature sensitivity can reach as high as 0.0224 K-1 and 2.25% K-1, respectively. We believe that this work will exploit an effective pathway for developing innovative non-contact optical thermometric materials.

  • Integration of Environmental Friendly Perovskites for High-efficiency White Light-emitting Diodes

    摘要: Perovskite quantum dots (QDs) have been widely used in white light-emitting diodes (WLEDs), due to their high quantum yield (QY), tunable bandgap, and simple preparation. However, the red-emitting perovskite QDs are usually containing iodine (I), which is not stable under continuous light irradiation. Herein, perovskite-based WLED is fabricated by lead-free bismuth (Bi)-doped inorganic perovskites Cs2SnCl6 and less-lead Mn-doped CsPbCl3 QDs, which emits white light with color coordinates of (0.334, 0.297). The Bi-doped Cs2SnCl6 and Mn-doped CsPbCl3 QDs both show excellent stability when kept in the ambient air. As benefits from this desired characteristic, the as-prepared WLED shows excellent stability along with operating time. These results can promote the application of inorganic perovskite QDs in the field of WLEDs.

  • Highly photo-stable CsPbI3 perovskite quantum dots via thiol ligand exchange and their polymer film application

    摘要: Highly photo-stable CsPbI3 perovskite quantum dots (PeQDs) were prepared using thiol as an exchanged ligand. Photoluminescence of CsPbI3 perovskite quantum dots can be maintained for a long time in UV via thiol ligand exchange. As an application, perovskite films were fabricated using the PeQDs and a cyclic olefin copolymer (COC). The thiol-treated PeQD films exhibited higher stability than the untreated films under irradiation with a blue light-emitting diode (LED).
