摘要: Light management systems are increasingly used in interior and exterior lighting. These systems offer many benefits for users of lighting. One of the most important advantages of these systems is the possibility of saving energy consumption for lighting purposes. Before deciding to use a lighting management system, it is worth knowing what value of savings energy this system will bring in specific case. The article present results of measurements basic light and electric parameters of LED luminaires with the possibility of controlling via DALI signal and obtained on base these measurements characteristic power control. Presented the method of calculating potential energy savings based on the received measurement results. Sources of differences between simulation calculations and real savings in using energy. The article present the differences between the evaluation of savings energy consumption simulation in the DIALUX program and real values. On the example of an existing lighting control system installed in sample room.

Polymer-assisted In-situ Growth of All-Inorganic Perovskite Nanocrystal Film for Efficient and Stable Pure Red Light-emitting Devices
摘要: In the past few years, a substantial progress has been made for perovskite light-emitting devices. Both pure green and infrared thin film perovskite light-emitting devices with external quantum efficiency over 20% have been successfully achieved. However, pure red and blue thin film perovskite light-emitting diodes still suffer from inferior efficiency. Therefore, the development of efficient and stable thin film perovskite light-emitting diodes with pure red and blue emissions is urgently needed for possible applications as a new display technology and solid-state lighting. Here, we demonstrate an efficient light-emitting diode with pure red emission based on polymer-assisted in-situ growth of high quality all-inorganic CsPbBr0.6I2.4 perovskite nanocrystal film with homogenous distribution of nanocrystals in size of 20 ~ 30 nm. With this method, we can dramatically reduce the formation temperature of CsPbBr0.6I2.4 and stabilize its perovskite phase. Eventually, we successfully demonstrate a pure-red-emission perovskite light-emitting diode with a high external quantum efficiency of 6.55% and luminance of 338 cd/m2. Furthermore, the device obtains an ultra-low turn-on voltage of 1.5 V and a half-lifetime of over 0.5 hours at a high initial luminance of 300 cd/m2.

Indoor Localization Using K-Pairwise Light Emitting Diode Image-Sensor-Based Visible Light Positioning
摘要: A great deal of research has been devoted to studying indoor localization schemes for the development of location-based services. This study investigated an indoor localization system, including subsystems of non-line-of-sight (NLOS) image-sensor-based visible light communications (IS-VLC) and the proposed ??-pairwise light emitting diode (LED) image-sensor-based visible light positioning (IS-VLP), in a unified lighting environment. A smartphone received multiple LED identifiers through the designed NLOS IS-VLC and successfully performed the proposed ??-pairwise LED IS-VLP with ?? = 3 to achieve localization, with maximum localization errors of 2.92 cm and 3.54 cm being obtained for ceiling heights of 100 cm and 150 cm, respectively.

摘要: The article evaluates the possibility of using halogen lamps, compact fluorescent lamps and LED lamps as direct substitutes of traditional 100 W incandescent lamps for selected residential lighting applications. A single halogen lamp, six compact fluorescent lamps and six LED light sources were examined. A traditional light bulb was also examined for comparison. All lamps operated in three luminaires. The basic evaluation criterion was the illuminance, uniformity and glare limitation in the place of work. It was found that not all light sources can be considered substitutes of traditional light bulbs. In the case of a luminaire made from a translucent material and one luminaire with a reflector, not all lamps allowed to obtain at least the same lighting parameters in the place where visual work was performed, as when a traditional light bulb was used.

摘要: The article focuses on the further verification of the software goniophotometer in the BUILDING DESIGN computational program in terms of the possibility of calculating the radiation of the liminous flux flowing into the upper half- space from public lighting systems [1]. Software goniophotometer was tested by the previous verification for the accuracy of calculations of the direct and indirect component of luminaire luminous flux. The superstructure was conceived as the possibility of inserting a network of calculating points in the shape of a sphere. We can imagine the points showing normal illuminance towards the centre of the sphere as a lux meter sensor. The system thus designed duplicates the function of a real goniophotometer, a photometric laboratory instrument that measures luminous intensity or luminous intensity curves. The principle of a goniophotometer is that it allows to measure the luminous intensity in different planes and at different angles, which can be easily interpreted by a sphere with a network of calculation points. The density of the calculation points can be entered in an angular step according to the standard luminaire measurement plan C, γ. The goal of implementing such a network of calculation points is to extend the possibilities of a computational program for modelling the luminous intensity curves of existing luminaires as well as newly composed luminaires. The main goal is calculating the radiation of the liminous flux flowing into the upper half-space from the outdoor lighting systems. It will be the basis for further astronomical calculations that focus on distracting light and increased sky luminance. Based on the testing, it will be possible to create model of lighting system in some city or district of the city by inserting LDT data of real luminaires, thus creating a real lighting system with real building models. From the resulting model, it will be possible to quantify the proportion of the direct and indirect luminous flux flowing into the upper half-space.

摘要: Due to the development of display technology higher and higher resolution devices are getting on the market. To characterize those high resolution display devices special measurement techniques are needed partly because most of them are handheld devices. Based on the recommendation of the International Committee for Display Metrology we have characterized some modern mobile displays and investigated how to choose the right application area of those devices. We have also tested if those devices would be proper to use them as diagnostic medical devices used by medical doctors.

摘要: Lighting systems are currently one of the main uses of electricity. The most popular option for reducing of electricity consumption is the use of dimming. Dimming is a type of regulation in which we can regulate luminous flux of a lamps and luminaires. This system of regulation is used in the road lighting industry, but also in households. Dimming allows adaptation of the lighting system according to specific requirements and various ambient conditions such as traffic density, daylight, etc. The regulation of the luminous flux depending on the dimming system can affect the electrical parameters of the luminaires such as the power factor. The article deals with the electrical parameters of luminaires with various lamps at different types of dimming.

摘要: Road luminaires are improving visual comfort during the night driving which has impact on road safety. Properly designed luminaires are also able to meet the standard requirements for its high energy efficiency. In this research it was checked how the measurement accuracy of luminaire luminous intensity distribution curve are impact on accuracy of road lighting calculations. The calculations were performed for several typical road luminaires. Based on this research it was found that programs supporting the lighting design calculation process gives more realistic results when the luminaire has accurately determined luminous intensity distribution curve.

摘要: When mobile robots navigate crowded, human-populated environments, the potential for conflict arises in the form of intersecting trajectories. This study investigates the use of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) arranged along the chassis of a robot in an arrangement similar to a turn signal on a car as a non-anthropomorphic, yet familiar signal to convey the intended path of a mobile service robot. We study the scenario of a human and a robot heading directly toward each other in a hallway, which may give rise to the familiar human experience in which both parties step to the right, then the left, then the right, continuing to block each other’s paths until they are able to coordinate their movements and pass each other. We conducted a pilot study which revealed that people do not always interpret this signal as one may expect, which would be similar to how a car uses its turn signal. This motivated a 2×2 experiment in which the robot either does or does not use LEDs to indicate its intended direction of travel, and in which study participants either are able to or unable to witness the robot’s “lane-changing” behavior further down the hallway prior to coming into direct proximal contact with the robot. The results demonstrate that exposing participants to the robot’s use of the LED signal only once prior to passing each other in the hallway is sufficient to disambiguate its meaning to the user, and thus greatly enhances its utility in-situ, with no direct instruction or training to the user. These findings suggest a paradigm of passive demonstration of such signals in future applications.

Riboflavin-induced Type 1 photo-oxidation of tryptophan using a high intensity 365 nm light emitting diode
摘要: The mechanism of photo-oxidation of tryptophan (Trp) sensitized by riboflavin (RF) was examined employing high concentrations of Trp and RF, with a high intensity 365 nm light emitting diode (LED) source under N2, 20% and 100% O2 atmospheres. Dimerization of Trp was a major pathway under the N2 atmosphere, though this occurred with a low yield (DφTrp = 5.9 x 10-3), probably as a result of extensive back electron transfer reactions between RF●- and Trp(H)●+. The presence of O2 decreased the extent of this back electron transfer reaction, and the extent of Trp dimerization. This difference is attributed to the formation of O2●- (generated via electron transfer from RF●- to O2) which reacts rapidly with Trp● leading to extensive consumption of the parent amino acid and formation of peroxides and multiple other oxygenated products (N-formylkynurenine, alcohols, diols) of Trp, as detected by LC-MS. Thus, it appears that the first step of the Type 1 mechanism of Trp photo-oxidation, induced by this high intensity 365 nm light source, is an electron transfer reaction between the amino acid and 3RF, with the presence of O2 modulating the subsequent reactions and the products formed, as a result of O2●- formation. These data have potential biological significance as LED systems and RF-based treatments have been proposed for the treatment of pathological myopia and keratitis.
