    摘要: The urgency of the problem is caused by the need to develop and implement energy-efficient and energy-reducing technologies, as one of the priority strategies for innovative development of the Russian Federation, and the lack of energy efficient lighting control systems, which consume up to 30% of the generated electricity. The aim of the research is to develop an energy-efficient indoor lighting control system for the production facility. The research methods are fuzzy modeling and the Mamdani fuzzy inference method, implemented in the Delphi programming environment. The main results of the research: a new method for energy-efficient control of the capacity of indoor lighting facilities is proposed. It differs from existing ones in that the control effect is created by forming two input signals from measuring sensors: lighting and people present, taking into account the regulated standards of production illumination. A new mathematical model for determining the optimal value of the power consumption by the indoor lighting facilities of production facilities is developed on the basis of the Mamdani fuzzy inference method. A hardware-software stand was developed for carrying out experimental studies.

    摘要: This paper presents a novel ramp rate control and active power smoothing methodology for net-load profiles in large power distribution networks where high Photo Voltaic (PV) penetration levels exist. The novelty is to break large systems into virtual local net-load locations where energy storage systems (ESSs) technologies are installed to mitigate severity of the anticipated shape of system net-loads. The proposed methodology uses Fast Fourier signal Transformation (FFT) to generate reference curves that adequately fit ESS active and reactive power capabilities. Then, a least square minimization (LSM) technique is applied taking both ancillary applications into consideration as well as maintaining State of Charge (SoC) within limits for ESS to function efficiently throughout the day. The methodology is applied on a sample aggregated US power distribution system and a 8000 nodes US power grid using CYMEDist simulation platform. Results show significant level of net-load ramp rate reduction as well as smoothing of fast fluctuations due to both PV intermittency and load changes.

    摘要: Machine vision is widely used in industry for monitoring and inspection. In additive manufacturing technology (AM), it is especially important in that it can cover an entire 2-dimensional printed surface area instantly. Additionally, AM technologies can also be used to make a mechanical part for a machine vision system such as mount or illumination devices on a 3D printer. For the industrial 3D printer, the camera mount requires to have temperature control capabilities for the vision system. This research aims to develop a method to build a mount with cooling capability with AM technology. This paper introduces a 3D printed camera cooling housing and proposes a temperature feed-back control method based on the image sensor itself without adding a thermal sensor to increase the user friendliness and simplicity. In the demonstration, a camera cooling housing that was developed enabled a camera module to operate at 200°C in an industrial Fortus 400 (Stratasys, MN).

  • Intricacies of the Determination of the Radiochemical Purity of 68Ga Preparations: Possibility of Sorption of Ionic 68Ga Species on Reversed-Phase Columns

    摘要: The results of studying 68Ga radiopharmaceuticals using various TLC and HPLC procedures are compared. The data obtained reliably show that a part of 68Ga ionic species are irreversibly (under definite conditions) sorbed onto chromatographic columns packed with С18 reversed phase. The loss of 68Ga ionic species in the analysis can reach 90%. The 68Ga loss increases with an increase in pH of the preparation. At pH 2.5–3.0, the total loss of 68Ga ionic species on the chromatographic column does not exceed 15%. At pH 4.0, it is 65 ± 7% on the average, and at pH 6.0 it reaches 87 ± 8%. This effect should be taken into account in analysis of any 68Ga radiopharmaceuticals.

    摘要: Multiple transmitters are widely used to solve the problem of lateral misalignment between coils in wireless power transfer (WPT). The effective control method is one of the guarantees to improve the performance of the WPT system. Based on theoretical modeling and mechanism analysis, this paper proposes a novel switching control method to select the optimal transmitter, which includes the control criteria of single transmitter and dual transmitters. Compared to other control methods of using coupling coefficient, the proposed method is easier to implement switching control and improves system reliability. The experimental results show that the proposed switching control method can effectively select the optimal working mode and increase lateral misalignment tolerance for the WPT system.

    摘要: In this demo we present a tangible UI concept for controlling the color of lighting. The interaction is performed by placing different color glass objects to a bowl of water. The system demonstrates an aesthetic design for a tangible UI, and aims to provide the user an experience-rich haptic UI. The demo aims towards decorative and calm UIs for home control systems. It seeks to hide conventional technology and switches, and is part of the ubiquitous computing design vision for calm computing.

  • Self Optimization Beam-Forming Null Control Based SINR Improvement

    摘要: In this paper, a self optimization beamforming null control (SOBNC) scheme is proposed. There is a need of maintaining signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) threshold to control modulation and coding schemes (MCS) in recent technologies like Wi-Fi, Long Term Evolution (LTE) and Long Term Evolution Advanced (LTE-A). Selection of MCS depends on the SINR threshold that allows maintaining key performance index (KPI) like block error rate (BLER), bit error rate (BER) and throughput at certain level. The SOBNC is used to control the antenna pattern for SINR estimation and improve the SINR performance of the wireless communication systems. The nulling comes with a price; if wider nulls are introduced, i.e. more number of nulls are used, the 3 dB beam-width and peak side lobe level (SLL) in antenna pattern changes critically. This paper proposes a method which automatically controls the number of nulls in the antenna pattern as per the changing environment based on adaptive-network based fuzzy interference system (ANFIS) to maintain output SINR level higher or equal to the required threshold. Finally, simulation results show a performance superiority of the proposed SOBNC compared with minimum mean square error (MMSE) based adaptive nulling control algorithm and conventional fixed null scheme.

  • Fuzzy neural network vibration control on a piezoelectric flexible hinged plate using stereo vision detection

    摘要: Vibration control on a two-connected piezoelectric flexible hinged plate is investigated, using a fuzzy neural network algorithm based on binocular vision measurement. As for vision sensing, a method to acquire vibration signals of the low frequency bending and torsional mode is investigated. To damp out the residual vibration quickly, the fuzzy neural network is applied to ensure the stability and control effect adaptively. To verify the stereo vision measurement method and the applied controller, an experimental setup of the piezoelectric flexible hinged plate with a binocular stereo vision is constructed. Experiments are conducted by using the binocular stereo vision measurement system and the adopted controller. The experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of the visual measurement method. Furthermore, the designed fuzzy neural network can attenuate the bending and torsional vibrations quickly, in comparison with proportional and derivative control, particularly for the small-level residual vibration.

    摘要: With the continuous increase in the penetration rate of photovoltaics (PV), the operating environment of the power grid becomes more and more complex. Weak grids usually present electrical characteristics like high harmonic content, high grid impedance and fluctuating voltage. When a grid-connected PV inverter is connected to weak grids, the traditional control method shows its limitation. In view of the nonlinearity of the mathematical model of the PV inverters, the algorithm derived from passive-based control (PBC) theory can be used to control the PV inverter, enabling the inverter to have better performance in weak grids. Firstly, this paper establishes the Euler-Lagrange (EL) mathematical model of the inverter based on energy method, and proves the passivity of the inverter system. Secondly, passivity-based control is applied to design the traditional passivity-based controller of the inverter system by injecting damping; then an improved passivity control method based on quasi-PR control method is proposed, namely, the error energy is first sent to the quasi-PR controller to change the damping coefficient of the system, then the coefficient is send to a conventional passivity-based controller to achieve the improved passivity-based control method. Finally, experimental comparison of the two methods show that the improved passivity-based control method is more suitable for weak grids with voltage instability and large impedance. The experimental results verify that the improved passivity-based control has strong robustness when the voltage fluctuates.

  • Control of orbital angular momentum of light in optofluidic infiltrated circular photonic crystal fibers

    摘要: Orbital angular momentum (OAM) of light has been of great interest to enhance the data transmission capacity in optical communication systems. In this regards, new designs of optical fibers have been developed to transmit OAM modes. Circular photonic crystal fibers (C-PCFs) with an air-core in the center are good candidates for guiding OAM of light. By changing the geometrical parameters of the C-PCFs, one can control the topological charge (l) associated with OAM order. However, practically it is of significant interest to keep the geometrical parameters fixed and control the OAM characteristics by introducing optical fluid into the C-PCF. Therefore, in this paper, we propose for the first time controlling OAM characteristics such as l, dispersion and confinement loss based on optofluidic infiltrated C-PCFs. To this end, optofluidics with various refractive indices are introduced into the first ring of air holes in the cladding and mode characteristics are compared with those of uninfiltrated C-PCF. The results show that the OAM modes can be well controlled in optofluidic-infiltrated C-PCFs over the wavelength range of 1.25-2.0 μm with good dispersion and loss characteristics. Also, the dispersion curve can be flattened when an optical fluid with a proper refractive index is infiltrated into the C-PCF.
