  • Preparation and Comparison of Hybridized WO3-V2O5 Nanocomposites Electrochemical Supercapacitor performance in KOH and H2SO4 Electrolyte

    摘要: The rod shape WO3-V2O5 hybrid nanocomposites were prepared by microwave assisted wet chemical route. The electrochemical investigations of as-prepared composites were carried in two electrolytes such as KOH and H2SO4 for comparison. Their maximum capacitance was calculated as 44 F/g for WO3 and 173 F/g for WO3-V2O5 composites in KOH electrolyte and its efficiency is 100 % up to 5000 cycles and its capacitance retention is 126% in KOH electrolyte. In H2SO4 electrolyte, the specific capacitance of WO3 was recorded as 246 F/g and WO3-V2O5 showed poor performance such as less than 12 F/g.

  • Crystal phase control synthesis of metallic 1T-WS2 nanosheets incorporating single walled carbon nanotubes to construct superior microwave absorber

    摘要: Two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) have attracted tremendous attentions due to their unique properties, and the development of phase control technique brings out new opportunities in emerging application fields. In this work, tungsten disulfide (WS2) nanosheets containing 1T phase predominately were incorporated with single walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) through a facial hydrothermal method. Two-dimensional flexible and ultrathin WS2 nanosheets were in-situ grown on one-dimensional SWCNTs bundles, further forming typical urchin-like microsphere with diameters distributing in the range of 2~3 μm uniformly. Accordingly, dielectric loss could be significantly enhanced due to the strong interface coupling effect between WS2 nanosheets and SWCNTs bundles, which induced considerable electrical conductivity and abundant capacitor-like structures. Consequently, the minimum reflection loss (RL) could reach up to -66 dB at 8.3 GHz with a matching thickness of 2.2 mm. Furthermore, RL values lower than -10 dB could be attained in the range of 3.0~18.0 GHz with integrated thicknesses from 5.0 to 1.0 mm. Prospectively, our present work may provide new opportunity to design TMDs based composites by means of crystal phase control technique as lightweight and high-performance microwave absorbers.

  • Controlled Growth of Ag Nanocrystals in a H‐Bonded Open Framework

    摘要: A procedure that enabled rational access to the first example of hybrid material made of NPs grown within a H-bonded framework is reported. To avoid competitive reactions with the framework units, the metal precursor was chemically trapped in the porous structure and subsequently photo-reduced to afford the hybrid material Ag@SPA-2, which consists of Ag NPs of nanometric sizes (< 15 nm) homogeneously distributed in the crystals of the host material. In a subsequent step, taking advantage of the porous matrix the silver NPs have been transformed in situ to Ag2S NP by simple infiltration of H2S. The supramolecular network is shown to play an important role in stabilizing the inorganic nanomaterials and thus in controlling their growth.

  • Low‐dimensional hybrid perovskites containing an organic cation with an extended conjugated system: tuning the excitonic absorption features

    摘要: Low-dimensional hybrid perovskites are receiving increased attention. One of the advantages of the low dimensional hybrids over their 3D counterparts is their greater structural flexibility towards the incorporation of bigger, more complex, organic cations. In this communication, we introduce a pyrene derivative as an organic cation containing an extended π-system for use in a variety of low dimensional hybrids. We show that materials with different excitonic absorption features can be obtained by tuning the iodide/lead ratio in the precursor solutions, using the same pyrene cation. In this way, hybrids with optical characteristics corresponding to 2D, 1D and 0D hybrid perovskites are obtained. The formation and thermal stability of the different hybrids is analysed and compared.
