Effect of substrate thickness on coating roughness Ti/AlTiN during interaction process Parameter
摘要: Ti/TiAlN coatings were deposited on tungsten carbide substrates and consist of the target Ti0.5Al0.5 using sputtering system is one of the main techniques which done be coating substrate. This research aimed is to develop the model a PVD magnetron sputtering process that can predict the relationship between process input parameters and the resulting coating properties and performance. RSM Response Surface Methodology was used, one of the most cost-effective and practical techniques to develop the process model. The influence of substrate thickness on the structural properties of the coatings was investigated and the effect of bias voltage on the microstructure was investigated. The number of crystallite grain size reduced with the increase of the bias voltage then reduce minimum roughness 0.07157 (μm) and became maximum roughness 0.7856 (μm). The crystalline grain size of the coatings increased as the bias voltage was raised from 50 to 75 V, and then decreased with further increase of the bias voltage.

Large-gap quantum anomalous Hall phase in hexagonal organometallic frameworks
摘要: The nontrivial band gap plays a critical role in quantum anomalous Hall (QAH) insulators. In this work, we propose that the intrinsic QAH phase with sizable band gaps up to 367 meV is achieved in two-dimensional hexagonal organometallic frameworks (HOMFs). Based on first-principles calculations and effective model analysis, we uncover that these large band gaps in transition metal based HOMFs are opened by strong spin-orbital coupling of the localized 4d or 5d electrons. Importantly, we reveal that Coulomb correlations can further significantly enhance the nontrivial band gaps. In addition, we suggest a possible avenue to grow these organometallic QAH insulators on a semiconducting SiC(111) substrate, and the topological features are perfectly preserved due to the van der Waals interaction. Our work shows that the correlation remarkably enhances the nontrivial band gaps, providing exotic candidates to realize the QAH states at high temperatures.

Augmented System for Immersive 3D Expansion and Interaction
摘要: In the field of augmented reality technologies, commercial optical see-through-type wearable displays have difficulty providing immersive visual experiences, because users perceive different depths between virtual views on display surfaces and see-through views to the real world. Many cases of augmented reality applications have adopted eyeglasses-type displays (EGDs) for visualizing simple 2D information, or video see-through-type displays for minimizing virtual- and real-scene mismatch errors. In this paper, we introduce an innovative optical see-through-type wearable display hardware, called an EGD. In contrast to common head-mounted displays, which are intended for a wide field of view, our EGD provides more comfortable visual feedback at close range. Users of an EGD device can accurately manipulate close-range virtual objects and expand their view to distant real environments. To verify the feasibility of the EGD technology, subject-based experiments and analysis are performed. The analysis results and EGD-related application examples show that EGD is useful for visually expanding immersive 3D augmented environments consisting of multiple displays.

摘要: This paper presents a development of a low cost Human Drone Interaction (HDI) that is capable of taking images of scenes with people. Such a system will have many applications such as taking sel?e images securely and detecting humans in rescue operations. We designed a HDI environment working with NAVIO 2 which is compatible with raspberry pi. OpenCV libraries gave additional speed to the system instead of using other image processing methods. Dynamic adaptation and the photography parallax were the main areas that we considered during the air-time of the drone. We constructed the proposed drone with the minimal designing architecture without all the additional building parts. After the initial design, the system was tested for HDI environment in different scenarios. Based on the test results, HDI environments parameters, such as stabilization, image quality, and speed, were tuned up . The results were quite impressive, compatibility between NAVIO 2 and Raspberry pi made this system a powerful HDI environment.

Study of Sensitivity and Resolution for Full Ring PET Prototypes based on Continuous Crystals and analytical modeling of the light distribution
摘要: Sensitivity and spatial resolution are the main parameters to maximize in the performance of a PET scanner. For this purpose, detectors consisting of a combination of continuous crystals optically coupled to segmented photodetectors have been employed. With the use of continuous crystals the sensitivity is increased with respect to the pixelated crystals. In addition, spatial resolution is no longer limited to the crystal size. The main drawback is the difficulty in determining the interaction position. In this work, we present the characterization of the performance of a full ring based on cuboid continuous crystals coupled to SiPMs. To this end, we have employed the simulations developed in a previous work for our experimental detector head. Sensitivity could be further enhanced by using tapered crystals. This enhancement is obtained by increasing the solid angle coverage, reducing the wedge-shaped gaps between contiguous detectors. The performance of the scanners based on both crystal geometries was characterized following NEMA NU 4-2008 standardized protocol in order to compare them. An average sensitivity gain over the entire axial field of view of 13.63% has been obtained with tapered geometry while similar performance of the spatial resolution has been proven with both scanners. The activity at which NECR and True peak occur is smaller and the peak value is greater for tapered crystals than for cuboid crystals. Moreover, a higher degree of homogeneity was obtained in the sensitivity map due to the tighter packing of the crystals, which reduces the gaps and results in a better recovery of homogeneous regions than for the cuboid configuration. Some of the results obtained, such as spatial resolution, depend on the interaction position estimation and may vary if other method is employed.

Influência do Strain e da Intera??o Spin-órbita em um Ponto Quantico Cilíndrico
摘要: In this work study how the strain and spin-orbit Rashba interaction type affect the energy levels of the conduction band in a cylindrical quantum dot, using the 2x2 method k●p. The results show that the spin-orbit interaction strongly influences the energy levels of lifting the degeneracy even in zero magnetic field, while the strain compressing the levels enhance the Rashba interaction effects. In this context, the intraband optic absorption becomes a useful tool to study the effects of spin-orbit interaction and the strain on the electron energy levels.

RNA-protein UV-crosslinking Assay
摘要: RNA-protein interactions play a crucial role in every aspect of RNA metabolism, and also plays a major role in post-transcriptional gene regulation. RNA-binding proteins have been implicated in viral gene expression (Ray and Das, 2002) and microRNA-mediated gene regulation (Poria et al., 2016). Here we have described the protocol which (1) covalently links transiently interacting RNA-protein complexes by UV crosslinking, (2) removes the unprotected RNA by RNase digestion and (3) detects the RNA-protein complexes by SDS-PAGE analysis. This protocol provides a rapid and reliable means to directly assay RNA-protein interactions and their kinetics using purified proteins and also help in identifying novel RNA-protein interactions

Relativistic Backward-Wave Oscillator with Parallel Wave Interaction
摘要: We study operation of a backward-wave oscillator (BWO) in the regime of parallel amplification of rotating waves with different azimuth indices. It is shown that in the linear case, the use of the parallel wave interaction principle allows one to enhance the BWO gain significantly as compared with a classical backward-wave oscillator. An option for using parallel amplification in high-power sectioned amplifiers is proposed.

Tuning CuOx-TiO2 interaction and photocatalytic hydrogen production of CuOx/TiO2 photocatalysts via TiO2 morphology engineering
摘要: CuOx/TiO2 photocatalysts prepared with anatase TiO2 nanocrystals exposing different types of facets as supports were examined for photocatalytic H2 production in methanol/water solution under simulated solar light. Catalyst structures were characterized by XRD, HRTEM, XPS, UV–vis, EPR, PL, H2-TPR and CO chemisorption. Enhanced photocatalytic H2 productions of CuOx/TiO2 photocatalysts followed an order of CuOx/TiO2-{001} > CuOx/TiO2-{100} > CuOx/TiO2-{101}. TiO2 facets were found to strongly affect the CuOx-TiO2 interaction and structures of CuOx/TiO2 photocatalysts. Cu2O-TiO2 interaction in CuOx/TiO2-{001} photocatalyst is the strongest, resulting in the highest Cu2O dispersion and density of Cu2O-TiO2 heterojunctions active in photocatalytic H2 production. The results add insights into morphology engineering as an effective strategy to tune structures and photocatalytic activity of TiO2-based composite photocatalysts.

Effect of Amino Anilines on the Fluorescence of Coumarin Derivative
摘要: The effect of stereo electronic factors of amino anilines such as ortho-phenylenediamine (OPD) and para-phenylenediamine (PPD) on the fluorescence of 5,6-benzo-4-azidomethyl coumarin (5BAMC) in polar aprotic and polar protic solvents has been studied. From UV absorption and 1 H NMR studies, observed blue shift in the presence of PPD is due to H-bonding with 5BAMC. Fluorescence quenching studies indicate the role of static and dynamic quenching mechanisms for both the quenchers and larger quenching efficiency of PPD than OPD. The sphere of action static quenching and finite sink approximation models reveal static effect in the excited state and diffusion limited bimolecular quenching reactions. Electrochemical analysis indicates that quenching efficiency of PPD is more than OPD based on the magnitudes of free energy change for electron transfer. Binding equilibria analysis confirms that the magnitude of binding between PPD and 5BAMC is stronger compared to OPD. It is also noticed that the binding between PPD and 5BAMC in polar protic solvents is stronger than that in aprotic solvents. Lastly, from the magnitudes of thermodynamic parameters, interaction between PPD and 5BAMC is hydrophobic and spontaneous. Thus from the present investigation, it is concluded that the separation between two –NH2 groups in amino anilines plays role in their interaction with coumarin derivative 5BAMC.
